I have just started to practice stippling/meandering and I want to mark a design on my fabric. The pen I have fads so quickly and I know that there are a lot on the market, but before I spend my money on something new I want feedback!

What fabric markers work best for you?

Thanks

NOT THE PENCILS! My mom warned me, that the pencil ones you have to mark over and over to get a line dark enough to SEE, but she thought maybe they'd be better after 20-30 years. UMMM NO! Just bought and pack and they're awful...

And not the ones that "vanish" after 72 hours. They either vanish in 20 minutes or not for weeks/months....

I've had success with the Water Erasable Fabric Marking Pen. I don't know who makes it because that is the only wording on the pen that I'm looking at right now. I bought it at a local quilt shop on their advice. It disappears with even a spritz of water from a spray bottle. The color I have is blue..not sure if it comes in other colors. The quilt I'm working on is light, so not sure how this would work on darker colors.
