mr clean magic erasers do a great job of getting starch off your iron. just wet the eraser and rub over the cold iron.

I found that glass stovetop cleaner worked well also.

I learned about cleaning my iron with magic erasers on this board a few months ago. Quite possibly the BEST tip EVER!!!
