YES Barb's prize did come today!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ladies are so very good to me. The quilt that you all made me is so lovely. Probably the most thoughtful gift that I have ever received! I will post pictures of the quilt so everyone can see your handy work and to see how lovely all these very different squares look.
I spent all day today with my daughter getting her baby's room ready she is due in 3 weeks! It was such a nice day except for we had locked ourselves out of her house. (so we went shopping) us women can use our time wisely!
Anyway I tell you this to let you know that you have all made a really nice day a very LOVELY day!
I don't know what to say except for THANK YOU All for making such a beautiful gift for ME! I love it and will keep it always.
I fell very blessed to have you all in my life!

Something I did that was not in the pictures - I created a tag for the back - all members are on the tag with their state, and those who made blocks are noted. I think this is going to be a neat heirloom for Barb!!!!

In this contest you have to figure out who the birthday girl is.....
The first clue represents the month (1:January, 2:February and so on)
The second clue represents the day of her birthday.
Both Clues are movies, both movies have numbers in their title....figure out the Movies, take the number from the title and that will give you the birthday.
PM me the birthday girl by 9pm Wednesday night...I will post a winner.
Clue1: George (hottie) Clooney stars in this 2001 movie.........
Clue 2: Molly Ringwald stars in this 1984 movie............

so far 4 correct answers for the contest...yeah ladies...I did not have any guess until this afternoon. I was wondering were everyone was!

What a nice finish to a rather crappy day, thank you Barb. Do you remember the funny acceptance speech one of the winners of Barb's contest gave awhile back? I can never match it but I'm extremely happy.

Nice job Marybrace! Barb - did you figure out how to post pictures? Its pretty simple - download the picture to your computer and click on Go Advanced at the bottom of this page. You will then see a link called Manage Attachments. Click on that and it will provide a browser window for you to select your picture. Just be sure to click the Upload button! Then type your message and submit!
