Boop those are beautiful! I hope everyone keeps posting these beautiful photographs of fabric and of the quilts as they progress. It is such motivation to see everything! I have gotten my inspiration for Mindless' quilt and started cutting this evening, I will get the background fabric this up coming payday, I want something soft and delicious!

Jillaine I hope you can help those last applications. I can only imagine the considerable amount of work hosting this swap is. If I can assist you in anyway I will gladly help ya! Even if it is cheering you on from the sidelines!!

Progress on the last applications is being made. Made one match tonight, and am waiting to hear back about allergies on another, and depending on the answer to THAT question, I can make a third and final match! Assuming all that goes well, the swap is now closed.

Linny, I have a mac and post photos all the time. When you're typing a message in a forum, you should see a row of little icons across the top of the typing window. The third one from the right is an image icon. Click on that to upload a photo.

IF you do not see a row of icons when you are typing a response, then click on "Go Advanced" underneath the typing window. That should take you to a typing box with the icons.

I am just stopping by to let everyone know that I am out of the hospital and home. There is nothing like your own bed and sheets that is for sure.

@NCLauri......I scrapped that pattern and working on finding a more modern pattern. I also got some great sales (bad thing about being stuck on bedrest, internet shopping) on some awesome modern fabric soooo. I figure I will make a decision after the fabric gets here.

Have a great week all

Nexxus - so glad you are home and doing better. You make whatever you want I won't be picky. I got my fabric in the mail I ordered and it is not what I thought it was. I am going to start on the quilt and see...

OH!!! Yes, yes, yes, I love the pumpkin and of course the rest of the colors too! Its so funny when you have a big piece of material and you love it, but can't figure out what to do with it..I have two or three of them of like that.
I know some of you girls are jealous of all of those pretty colors...but then there is alot of pretty fabric going into these quilts....just wait until you see the finished products....last year there was some really pretty ones.

Oh!! I'm having so much fun, I could just pee my pants.....of course I'v had two cups of coffee also.

Nexxus, so glad that you are home and hoping that you are feeling better..

Jillaine, you know that I would help you in anyway, having fewer people I'm sure will help, but call on us and I sure we will kick in to help.

Hey Eilzabrat, I started cutting your quilt out yesterday and hopefully won't screw up anything. I decided to make a center set of alternating blocks, which will end up about 36" by 36", then play with fancy multiple border designs around that. There are a lot of gold metallic threads in these fabrics, and it is a very rich color combo. If you want to drool (or stop me in horror), it is the "passage To India" collection by R. Kaufman. I can admit to being guilty in the past for not wanting to cut into some of my more "special" stash, and just petting it. But having taken the plunge, it does feel nice to handle in action. And ONLY a quilter should get a quilt made out of this! Hee hee.
Welcome home Melinda! Take it easy and slow for a bit, ok? If your fabric bill is more than the hospital bill, we will understand completely. Maybe it will be covered under "medical necessities".
