Well well here I am. Not putting the binding, not quilting the quilt yet no no BUT I STARTED SEWING!! I cut and finished perfectly two blocks today. It was a busy full of stuff day but I got them started and well it feels real good. the colors are coming together not sure about that pop color might unpop and skip it as the others pop rather nicely on their own. I will wait and judge that until I hit halfway. then I can better say if its needed or not. This will be that hey I wouldnt mind owning (um lost in the mail? lol). and I never want to waken my cats. oh dear no. dont roll over they might be disturbed one cat loves to come tap my leg while I am sewing. I usually say in a minute in a minute and sits there reaches up and taps me again twice. ok ok stop what i am doing give her a grand rub scratch go to sew.. tap tap. ok need more.. this is how it goes. love those kids I mean cats of mine I just wanted you to know Twinriver I broke the ice. tada! now they will roll.. one block for every other block I do and it will finish in no time at all.

We really have to meet, I mean my mom lives around the corner (well sort of) from your Mom and you live right around the corner to my Daughter... It is destiny for sure!

I have an idea! I can just house hop, go from one quilters home to the next, doing what ever it is you want done... long enough to wear out my welcome then move on to the next quilter... Hummm I have a new career any takers??
You can come to my house....maybe it's right on the way. I'll get the wine, make a few brownies & we can see how much trouble we can get into. then, I could go with you to the next quilter, & we could all 3 go to the next, & so on. Maybe by July, we could all meet each other in person. Have our very own little q4q quilt party / show. It would be good practice for you in your new career. lol

Those buggy barn quilts are great. Just might have to try making one.

I'm so excited! Take all the time you need, because I can enjoy looking at YOUR quilt hanging on my wall for as long as it takes. I know what you mean about cats. Mine get in my face and lap (along with the 2 dogs) at 4:30 every day and demand dinner. One cat (who only has 3 legs) actually climbs a tree to get outside my window and get my attention. Don't they realize I am sewing here? The kitten left a dead mouse next to my slippers this morning, by the way. I praised her, disposed of it and checked in the slippers carefully.

oh dear lord present! mine finds anything that moves. indoor kitties here. outside kitties are bait. Darned racoons would get them or bob cats or coyotes not sure about foxes but they dont last long outside sigh. Neighbor had six cats on his porch he fed a year ago. within one full year only one left. its the critters that catch them. that and snakes ugh. lovely living in the country but not if your a cat. Today I will make another block and soon I will have a quilt. one block at a time. I am usually good to sew two blocks a day. Then I get tired and need to stop. I just peaked at those blocks and the calmer one still says yes. maybe the bolder one will go in the quilt just to show .. a wilder side next to the gentler side of me too oh worse yet I named your block Twinriver. I um call it.. Frog Pond. Dont ask me why either it just came to me. yikes I now. trust me there are no frogs on your quilt fabric at all so where did that name come from? lol

Any and all on the website will be perfect! Love em all. Yep, love brights. The link doesn't work, but haven't seen anything out of Buggy Barn that wouldn't be welcome in my house.

Will be leaving this weekend for DD for two weeks. Not sure if I will get to start yours there or not. Getting acquainted with DGS will be top priority.

I am so excited for you Libby, having a new grand son to play with and spoil. I am going on a trip myself, leaving Thursday for Washington. I get to play with my 3 year old granddaughter! I am so excited! But what ever sewing I don't get done between now and Feb ... middle of Month I am guessing... will just have to wait, sew sew sew... here I go. Linda/brat. I am working on finishing the lap top cover for your little Princess, It should be in the mail by tomorrow... Well that is my goal, I might have to mail it from Washington So where is the Town that the Buggy Barn is in? I might see if my daughter will take me there, or at the very least let me borrow her car, that is unless it is in the snow country!
