Thanks! Actually that's what we did and it was interesting to actually see that what I thought might be nice really didn't add to the look of the quilt so I went with a multi natural......can't wait to see it completed.

If the quilting is going to enhance the squares, then do the color blue, which is my favorite. If the quilting is only going to blend in the background because the squares are so brilliantly bold and show off as well as you sew, then do the cream for safety. To me, in my opinion, it all depends on how secure you are in your quilting. I love to add that punch of color to a quilt if it is going to make the blocks look exciting. Since this is probably mine you are talking, go for the gusto.

Oh dear.....are you sure? You see, I was advised against the blue, but I still have time to change it.....I think. Are you talking dark blue or or what? There are some navy blues in your quilt.

Well, show me the quilt and I will tell you. (LOL, ha ha ha ha ha). If you were advised to do the cream, then do so. I have not seen the top so I don't know. I am sure it is fabulous. Just thought if you were asking, I would chime in. Without seeing the top, I am sure you made the right choice.

I did ask, and am happy you made comment on my impending decision....after all it is being made for you and I really want it to look nice. I'm pretty sure you will like it.

Why wouldn't I, it was made for me by someone who likes me. How good can it get!!!!!!

I finally am finishing up that cancer quilt. Have the yucky binding to do. Then another cancer quilt to finish and a vet quilt to finish up. Three quilts in the process YIKES! Then I get to cut yours up. I may do that inbetween and bring to office to do since I am finally getting caught up. Thought of something else to do though at work that I think needs redone so that will take up the work time for sure. Oh yeah, that is what I get paid for. LOL. Well, bettter get finishing up for day.

Well, the stomach bug hit our house, so no sewing right now. Don't want to get anyone sick.

So now onto the next fun project. Another Cancer quilt needs done. Breast cancer this time. I do not do well with pastels. Went into LQS to get some fabric (DH bought some but was a cream and needed a white base fabric, but I have some gorgeous fabric to play with later) and they just laughed at me, took the embroidered blocks and began the search for the right fabric. Sure enough, they came up with some of the same fabric I had purchased last year for a soft quilt I made for a swap partner. Who would figure. LOL So now to get that pieced and quilted and mailed off. Hard to work with pink.

Then for my swap partner, keep staring at the fabrics thinking of getting it done. I may change it up again. Not sure. Wanting to play with some different types of blocks that I have not made before and having fun doing different settings of my blocks. I suppose I should ask if she does not mind it being a little bigger than the 60" required if I happen to see something else I like.

Hi everyone. I haven't done any sewing in the past two weeks. I am hoping to get my top sandwiched Today or tomorrow. This is the one step I hate doing. I have already finished my house cleaning. I am off to sew. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hey ladies...I haven't gotten to sew at my house in weeks. I am hoping things will ease up at home this week so I can get back to sewing these beautiful blocks. I need some good thoughts sent my way if you don't mind. My lil man (3 yr old) has been dealing with a really bad stomach bug since Valentine's day. He was doing better Thursday and Friday and into Saturday. Yesterday morning he relapsed again. Called the doctor this morning and waiting for a call back. I'm really worried now and am exhausted. I will keep y'all updated on my lil guy. Hugs and love!!!
