Jaba - I love your placemats! What a great idea! What does the reverse side look like? Did you quilt them? I think that is what I will do too.

I know, they do make a beautiful table setting! You done good! I'm already looking forward to the next patriotic swap.
Just a FYI, Everyone....those patriotic prints will be on sale now for a while. Time to stock up for next year's swap. Just saying.

I used a mottled red or blue for the backing. Used warm and natural batting and yes they are quilted.

I am sorry I didn't get a chance to let you ladies know that I received my blocks, too (have been under the weather and am just now getting back into everything I've let slide to the side). Anyway, All of the blocks are absolutely beautiful!!! I promise to post as soon as I at least have my top together :-)
