My three December Candy packs went out today. I had to buy 3 more stamps to get me through the end of our swap. One for December and two for February. I can't believe we're nearly done.

December birthday squishes mailed out today. I was so busy with the Ornament Swap that I forgot to mail the Birthday Swap cards. But I should be safe and all should arrive on time; however, I have a feeling that Old Cat Lady will just sneak in arriving on time.

I am in for 2017, don't have my candies cut, but have been saving 2 1/2" strips from every project that I have worked on this year to cut up into candies.

Update on the kittens and dogs getting along. Tonight all critters slept for 1-2 hours on the same bed. No hissing, growling or putting their mouth over them or pawing them. Each day they get better on interacting together. The lab is still too rough in trying to play with the kittens, but she is getting better. The kittens are very loving and are never too far from me when I let them have the run of the house. Makes it easy to monitor them. I just love having them in the house.

Djmat, sounds like you had a great trip and mini shop hop.

My daughter read online that it's good to put a big dog on a leash and tether him/her to something so he/she will just lie down and not be able to jump up. Then the little kittens can explore to big doggy on their own, without fear of being overpowered.

We tried it with our big dog and her new kitten when we were at their house over thanksgiving. It really works. Instead of the kitten hiding all the time, it could come out and sniff the dog, and get used to it on non-threatening terms.
