It's been one of the most joy filled and peaceful holidays we've had so far. However now I'm stressing that I have to finish my homework, due tomorrow.. eek. Well I think we ate at about 3ish. We just finished up pie and ice cream and we've been playing Wii games all day. It's been fun. My older brother brought his new GF this time and I know she was apprehensive because she has social phobia/anxiety like I do, but I think she's doing ok. I can tell she's not entirely comfortable because she's still sitting on the edge of the seat but at least she's laughing and will talk. So it's good. I have soo much turkey and sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes leftover.. YAY MEEEEEEE!!!! Dinner for this weekend.. woot. I make this sweet potato bake that has orange juice and is supposed to have rum, and I think people generally put pecan crumble on top but I put marshmallows. It tastes just like apple pie.. so it's super good. But my little brother still won't touch it cause he knows what it is.. silly boy. Ohwell. More for mee Hope you are all having a good and peaceful day. My new neighbors were out barbecueing right.. and all I see is flame and no one attending it, then I'm picking the turkey clean and I see it start to snow and they come out and I hear them curse cause their flame went out what's why you don't leave it unattended silly!! and you don't rely on lighter fluid.

Left overs? what time is dinner Anastasia? I am good at eating left overs. We had prime rib as the kids wont come til Christmas and one turkey no matter how small is a whole lot of turkey for two people. I cut out one of my table runners last night. TADA wonder which one??? probably the multi colored rainbow one.. wait not making one of those. Ok it must be the turkey one.. nope wrong swap. Well definetely one of them. It will be a wonderful project to keep me out of trouble. I could use lots of help with that.

Today is my Friday. Yipppeee! This means oodles of sewing time coming my way. I am jazzed. What wild and exciting projects are you ladies working on?

Have been working very hard in my room today. Hubby started a painting job - our bedroom wall, so I am out of his way. Have finished two small placemats and put the bindings on 4 quilts. I'll have plenty of hand work now to last me through a football game or two. I'm on my way back downstairs to cut my table runner for my swap partner - and maybe cut two. I have two patterns, unsure of which I really want, so may have to do them both and then decide which to send and which to gift to someone else.

OK, now that I can sit up and eat a little without turning green, I'm here to check up on you ladies and catch up on my reading! I see there's at least 1 already shipped. I shall start tomorrow if I'm able. My boyfriend evidently had a virus, not food poisoning, which started effecting him early Tuesday morning, and by Wednesday afternoon, it was effecting me too because I stupidly chanced sleeping in the bed with him Tuesday night. We've been a horrible pair the last few days, and still haven't had anything remotely "Thanksgiving" to eat. Thankfully Dusty was at his grandparents and didn't get it too.

Jaba, now now, if I post what I'm looking for, I assure you that it will give away who my partner is. I had another idea, so we'll see. I did manage to get everything worked out on paper. I'm going to go for the applique, if it works out ok on a scrap piece, as I've never tried it before and have to get out the manual for my machine. I think I've decided on a way to incorporate a little flavor for the whole family too.

So, I guess I will hint that my partner lives West of the Mississippi River.

I can't post any more hints either... or I'm sure I'll give it away.

I feel sorry for my partner, because I'm such a beginner I see soooo many faults already.

I finished mine so will be mailing out tomorrow to my partner. Figure it might as well be at her house instead of mine. Hope she likes it, she still hasn't posted
