Vanogay I will climb up there for you. There are a lot of us who post and well update on life and our quilt projects. Then there are those who prefer to watchin the sidelines which is fine too .. that said when someone takes the time to make a gift for you its beyond incomprehensible to ignore it. I hope that that table runner is acknowledged and Jaba do not make another. That is a lovely table runner and surely was enjoyed (or if you say on vacation didnt open it/) and the receiver just didnt get the write rule. I will hope they write asap. It would most assuredly be the RIGHT thing to do. Know you did what you needed to do Jaba. The rest is out of your hands.

I sent mine NORTH TO ALASKA (ok maybe I didnt) but I know its not in Hawaii right now. Its in a truck or plane more likely. riding third class. but travelling. I am hoping it works for the person I sent it to. Now I am ready to start the second one and it is NOT blue. is it yours??? who picked colors other than blue? speak up speak up!

I am soo excited to start this one, sorry, but no, I have not begun yet. Other than in my head. There is WAY too much in there right now. I don't know why I do this. Always over do myself this time of year. LOL I thrive on the challenge. I hope noone minds that mine will be later than sooner. But by the deadline for sure. Well, I'll try. LOL Now I'm sounding like someone else I know. LOL Just had to stop in and say "hi", back to work I go. Wanna get out of here at a decent hour today so I can sew!! I cannot say it enough. DANG JOB!!!!! Gets in the way of my life.

OK, that's IT! All other projects are on the back burner until my runner is done!

Well, maybe not. I do have my entire box of pins in use about to put together a bunch of D4Ps... so maybe I'll finish assembling those, THEN finish the runner...

I think you guys are rubbing off on me. DH pointed out that my hobby is expensive, as I spent over $100 at Joanns this weekend. Reminding him that it was all on sale, and that I SAVED $100+ didn't help either... Oh, well. He got a boat last weekend. He can deal.

Buslady you need to take a sick day from work and let out all that head stuff, just call in and tell them you're all stuffed up, not a lie, truthful as can be. LoupEsprit you need to go back to Joanns you forgot to buy more pins and you have a long way to go to even out that boat. If you run out of things to buy, let me know and I'll be happy to help you out with that...
I know where the table runner is going to from the" Brat" I'm sure she'll like it!! Can't remember if she told me the other one, maybe not, I didn't ask for blue...it might be for me!! I guess I'll find out sometime. Today I need to finish a little gift for my SP swap for December. The sewing machine is calling to me, "she" is a little slave driver every once in awhile. Check in later.....

Worked downstairs all morning. Generally Tuesdays, the ladies come over and we sew here at the house. No one showed up today, so I just had to sew by myself. Pout, pout!! Actually got something done. Was working on a free standing lace project and wanted to finish it - I did and then I was working on another runner - not the one for my partner, just working on one. Well, I finished it, but had to laugh out loud - it has a very definite left and right side and lots of small pieces to put on those left and right. Somehow I got the small pieces backwards (or was it upside down?), so the pattern is not quite right and again, one of the larger pieces is backwards - I have no idea how that happened - and I decided I'm not going to recut and redo. It was a real learning experience on a pattern I'll probably never make again!!! Obviously won't put alot into the quilting and finishing.
Did finish my partner's runner and am in the process of quilting it. Decided to hand quilt it since it is small - that'll make it more special. Don't know exactly when it'll be finished, though and will go in the mail right after that...

I want toys i am hoping I have enough this weekend to finish that quilt i showed you so I can get it out to be quilted. I've pretty much decided I won't try to have it AT christmas cause I'm too broke to give all her siblings a gift as well but it's really kind of a coming of age gift anyways, just had an arbitrary date of christmas to be done, but I want it done in THIS year so I can focus on other stuff next year like finishing my swap quilts.. haha. My siggie quilt and my boom quilt. And maybe learning to quilt one of them MYSELF. probably the siggie one. Who wants to quilt my boom one for me? that's going too a friend who doesn't know anything about quilting so you can suck all you want. heheh.
