OK, I'm taking a break. One of my cats came and sat down on my work. I think she knew how frustrated I was. I did the most boneheaded thing (oops, can I say that here?) I found a really cute table runner for february and decided to make that on the back of my winter side so it can be reversed. I made the feb one 1st. It had theme blocks and connecting blocks. I thought I would change the theme blocks to winter and use the same layout and connecting blocks so the quilting would be good for both sides. I measured the blocks and found a pattern the same size for the winter side, as I was putting it together today I realized the feb blocks were 8" unfinished and I used 8.5" unfinished for my winter side!!! OMG!!! I had to rip apart the connecting blocks to make them bigger so everything would fit. What was supposed to be a simple day has turned into an horrendous one. So now my quilting is going to look really bad on the feb side but can't be helped. The winter side is not as forgiving. I can not believe I did that! The one side is a little bigger, going to try to make it work or will have to give up on the idea of a reversible runner. What a day!

I have the snowflake print in blue, too

Oldcatlady, that's really close to what happened to me with mine, but all was OK in the end when my partner was happy with it.

Hey all, I just sent out reminders to those people I don't recall getting a PM from letting me know that they have mailed their runner. There's only a few days left and I know I'm bustin my rear to get mine done too. I know at least one of those people has had technical difficulties and I did notify their partner of that. I know one of those people has been out of town nearly all this time.. Let's get crackin. If you were on that list and HAVE mailed and I just missed it somehow, let me know.

If I don't hear back from everyone in that list by mail date, I'm gonna start calling!!!!

I've mailed but not yet received. Oh my, this is getting to be like Christmas! Mail by date is Tuesday, and allowing for 5 days mailing time, I should have mine by the next Monday. I'm so excited! This is what Christmas was like as a child!!!

Mine was mailed and received also, still waiting on mine so 1 of you must have my name. Getting excited to receive it so I can use a new runner. What are we going to do for the next one? Gave Anastasia a couple of ideas, anyone else have suggestions on what you'd like to do?? come on ladies, lets help her out so we can do it again.

Jaba, I thought you would have changed your avatar by now. Sorry about the game - it was exciting, though and I did lots of hand work during it (during both games, actually). I have a church meeting this afternoon and will miss part of the first game, darn, darn.
I have been in touch with Anastasia about my partner - and if you are one who has posted here about mailing in the next few days, okay, BUT if you haven't started, get with it!! I'm waiting and I've never been known to be too patient! If it doesn't come soon, I'll resort to crying and that's not pretty. Oh well, back to the TV and football.

I've been strongly thinking about it, I'm out of my misery, don't have to worry about the winning and losing part. Now just hope 1 of my squares on the super bowl boards I'm on will win, then I'll be in the $. Yippee more fabric!! Do you want me to post your little surprise for my avatar? Think I'll take a pic of Matilda and show her off. And yep you and I are not the most patient people in the world. The only thing I can say is I didn't start throwing things at the TV yesterday, didn't want to replace that big screen. Wouldn't let Bill either since his GreenBay lost. Guess I'll have to root for the Seahawks now, they're the closest team to us and we have gone to several of their home games since 1 son lives close.
