Okay, be forewarned...I am fixing to do a lil "bragging" and a lot of "gushing"....I received my table runner from Quercus Rubra...and it is waaaaaay better than I could have dreamed of! Perfect for my dining room...even though I had said I wasn't picky, and would be happy with whatever...this runner is a perfect match to my color themes...plus its reversible!! So I have winter theme on one side, and "whenever" theme on the other....Here are some pics I want to share, they are close up to see better..the actual runner is very long, as Tricia made it long enough to fit my table with leaf extension in it:

Beautiful, eh??
Thanks so much a thousand times, Tricia!

Jaba, I put 1 month make time on my swap and Ms Patrice changed it to 2 months when she approved it. I'm not sure if there were too many missing deadlines, more swaps going on than usual, because of what it was, etc. but it's OK. More time to make something stunning! I love the scraps idea too! If I bring more fabric into this house too soon though, I may be in trouble. I have to figure out a way to organize what I have before I get into trouble with the boyfriend. He was picking on me this morning (nothing unusual for us) and he was talking about me taking over the ENTIRE guest room with my sewing. What can I say? It's a small room!

Hey, I have purple in my dining room too, so if you're drawing straws to see whose that is, pass one over here too!

Jaba, there is a thread on the home page I believe where you can make a post of your own to do the selling of your scraps. I have found some on that site on occasion.

Well, the lovely post office delivered my package back to me today!!!. I'm not sure why. They seem to be on a tear with me lately. I'm not off until friday so I can't take it in until then but I'm going to try to drop it off on the way to work in the morning and see if it goes through this time-maybe someone else will handle it!. If it comes back to me on thursday then nothing was lost, I'll take it in on friday but it just may go through and I want to give it a chance to get there 2 days earlier.

I know I've sent heavier packages in the flat rate envelopes and it's not going international so don't know what the issue is other than they just want to be a pain in my ...

Jan, I gifted mine. The deal is if your shipping even in priority its by zip. so my fabrics the ones from my sister went for 10.00 that is a lot. I think do you want these scraps or do you want say a yard of nice fabric. I vote a nice of lovely fabric myself. I am happily using some Christmas scraps. Now those are lovely. I think f4's you got my attention. tiny squares? OMG I grow those too. A great person to ask is Goldendog55 she is pretty up on what that stuff is worth I think

Now I got my first mug rug partner. She is a lovely lady from Christchurch New Zealand. I went there on my honeymoon oh some odd 25 or so years ago. wow. its starting summer over there I believe. make anyone a tiny tiny bit jealous? does me. so what to make a kiwi do you think? I need to represent here girls any ideas of a tiny care package I am all ears. while we wait of course for the runners to come flying in..
ps that is a very nice little candy cane stripe runner good for both winter and well Valentines day and fourth of July and well multi runner galore!

WELL Nancia smarty pants she isnt in this swap and the internationals I guess are not a secret.. we got each other at least I think we did as she wrote and said as much. now if we didnt she is getting two mug rugs and I got a lovely chat with her. She is truly really a nice young lady. I think I found what I would like to attempt to make. key word. attempt. those things are sure small and then to make small special.. that is the challenge i think.

I am in such a good mood like its sitting right herein my chest this morning I feel grand the sun is coming up slightly over the mountain so right now the trees on top. look golden in the morning light its so pretty to watch them glow like that and soon the bark on them will glow red in the morning glow. yup its a gorgeous day. time to finish my side swap here for my dear friends. and make new friends by making magnificent mug rugs that impress so much I am a star. yah right. shushup.

AND guys that household swap has a mid march return your swap date surely you want to sign up for that/ dont you need potholders? placemats? dishtowels? another tablerunner? a scrap thread holder that thingy that you toss your cut off threads as you sew. darned the name is escaping me like gone with the wind right now fling right out my window.. turkeys dont eat that I need it give it back ohhh nooo. dustys mom could use a couple more sign ups if you want to be so good as to go check it out..
