April Fat Quarter Swap - Civil War prints
#72
For our next swap, I was thinking of primary and secondary 'blender' FQ's. Red/Yellow/Blue/Orange/Green/Purple - - - also thinking to making it 5 FQ's rather than 4 as the group had been doing recently. Swappers would choose any 5 of the 6 colors to swap.
Thoughts??

Karen G sent me the loveliest plum fqs! I think I forgot to thank her and I'm truly sorry because I LOVE them. I have a dream of making a Chedder/Plum quilt some day.
And I think I owe her a yard of something (not)ugly. See the (not)ugly she sent behind the Civil Wars?
I edited this TWICE for typos. I think I need chocolate!

Very pretty FQ's, SheriR.
As far as I can tell (and I've been keeping track) all the swapping is finished. If there is anything or anyone who has not received their swap, please let me know ASAP.

I've mailed out my last side swap to SheriR. She was busy with the excitement of her daughter's golf tournament and forgot to let me know what she wanted to swap. So when I received a pkg from her full of beautiful Civil War fqs, I was surprised... had to pm her and tell her that I was going to have to get my wet noodle after her for not letting me know!
But as we are repeat swappers, and quilty friends, she knew I was kidding, and that I would send her fqs out asap.
And, I have to say having a daughter in a golf tourney that does so well she will be heading to Orlando in May, absolutely trumps "fq swap remembering to pm your partner what you want to swapness".
I realize that last sentence probably makes no sense to anyone but me...lol.
I'll just say, SheriR and I are "all good".
Regards,
K
PS Good luck to Sheri's daughter and team in Orlando

I'm happy you like them, Sheri. And I thank you for thinking I helped explain your "brain mush", but I know I often can't explain my own brain...lol..
I figure we gals are friends, and betwixt and between us all we usually figure things out ok.
Jane,
Like I've said before, I'm happy to help out. Sending you a pm.
