Thanks Mim! I busted out the silhouette and cut a bunch of them out.

Rhonda - yeah, the bird is backed with fusible, just not ironed down yet.

I've never used fusible. So then you sew around the edge right? I'll have to try that some time. Love your sneak peek!

Love working with fusible...probably more than"regular" quilting.
Can't wait to see the rest of your mini Gravy. And all the ideas that show up this month.
Regards,
Kif

I love regular quilting but I have a fear of trying to man handle a gianormous quilt in and out of my sewing machine. Smaller blocks are are definitely more fun. I've been watching videos on quilt-as-u-go and hope to try that out in the near future.

@tlambing - it's an April fools party and everyone is invited.

I always PM the recipient if they want a sleeve to hang it -- so far no one does

Welcome to the swap -- it is fun

Went on a treasure hunt today LOL I decided I want some novelty buttons for my quilt and I went to some LQS to find what I wanted. Lots of fun looking through novelty buttons. I didn't realize how many and how varied they are!! You can find almost anything you can think of! If not in the stores then online. I looked there too. I did find one type I wanted but the other one I found some smaller versions. Not sure if that will work for what I want to do. LOL my quilt is evolving as I go LOL But you'll have to wait to see what kind of special buttons I am using!!

Nelco I sure hope you like it!
