Default Thank you jazs2

I tried to post pic earlier but no luck. Thank you for the Applique quilting book. Also the tangles, 4 fat quarters, hand sanitizer, emery board, pattern and the small apple core template. Everything was wonderful.

melinda we like to see pics of what the swappers get to share in the joy of it all. that is part of the fun. many swappers like to have pics of their secret pals swaps posted. also posting the pics give all of us ideas on what we can include in some of our future packages or gives newbies ideas on what is included in packages. plus we love to see all of the handmade items.

when i started playing almost 2 yrs ago, i asked the then host was kinds of things were included in the swap packages. she suggested i look at pics of earlier swaps to get an idea which i did and i have been having fun every since.

if none of us posted pics of the swaps we received i am not sure how much fun this swap would be. it is one of the ways we get ideas for new things to make like the chair pincushions that lawsonmugs makes(mary) or the sewing machine organizer that arizonagirl made(robyn) or the sewing themed jewelry that craftykk makes or any of the other wonderful things that people make in this swap.

in the end it is a personal choice. but you never know your sp may be one that would love to see her/his swap package pictured or at least a public recap listed in the thread. it really is part of the fun for many of us.

mary

Hi Mary, that is just a small part of my collection. I've missed being around and visiting with everyone. I agree everyone is getting wonderful packages this month. I know I sure did.

So if anyone else is on the bench waiting you get the treatment also.

The whole trick to doing a PROPER pedicure and not tickle the person
is to apply enough pressure to get past the ticklish stage, but not so
much pressure that you can cause discomfort or pain.

My husband who is EXTREMELY ticklish can tolerate my pedicures,
except for at the top of the ball (just below the toes area), nothing
I do there will prevent him from being ticklish in that area. But I HAVE
to give him regular pedicures because his heels crack so bad that he
has literally shredded 3 bottom sheets. Just today I had to do a patch
repair on a sheet (because I am tired of buying new sheets).
Louise I have the same problem with DH. I cut the toes and the top of old socks off and DH sleeps with them on at night. It covers his heel area. It looks like the ankle braces that you can buy at the drug store and slip on to give your ankle support when it is hurt. It works perfectly, no more shredded sheets. I also have him put this stuff called heel tastic on at night. It is like a stick deoderant in a round container. I got it a walgreens. There are several different brands that you can use. There is also a lotion for cracked heels that works well. If used every night it should greatly improve the condition of his heels.

Havplenty - I hope I get YOU for an SP. Those are fantastic!

On another note, it is a cold and dreary day today so I'm not outside playing in my garden. I really should be sewing and shipping veils today ... but I am having way too much fun with my Accuquilt Go! At this rate, I think I will end up slicing and dicing my way through my entire stash!
Oh goodie you got one. I was hoping that you would. How do you like it? I just love my GO! I have a lot of the dies as well. The strip dies are great. I use a silver elementz marker pen to mark the cutting lines on my dies. You can find them at Walmart very cheap. They are the best for marking the cutting lines, which help to reduce the amount of waste when cutting.

No way would I be able to do it while running.

But than I don't drink the coffee/caffeine like I use to either, at
least not since the Dr made me stop (only drink 1-2 cups a few
days a week now). Sometimes I think the Dr is a crack pot telling
me that is the cause of all my headaches LOL, they haven't stopped
even though I don't drink the caffeine as much.
Louise are your headaches migraines? If so ask your Dr about taking nortriptyline. I take it at night before bed and it has helped to reduce the amount of migraines. I used to have one almost every day.

We all love to see photos and learn what everyone has received. That's half the fun. We especially love seeing homemade items... so forget the privacy and show it all!
