Being a not so country girl...stupid question...do all roosters have spurs on their legs???
Love seeing all the great ideas being put into action and all the new chickens being "born"

lynnie there are no stupid questions, only people who don't ever want to ask questions to learn something new. I am glad you are ok where the flooding was so bad.

My dad is ok, but back in the hospital and then on to the nursing home for rehabilitation again. It never ends. He can't walk, because he needs a hip replacement, but at almost 82 no one thinks it's a good idea. I talked to him today, and he is sounding very frustrated. I told him I would start a prayer chain for him, so anyone here that wouldn't mind being a part of that chain I would appreciate so much with all my heart.

Goodnight Everyone!

Sorry to hear about your father. My mother had her hip replaced at 85. It was either that or stay in a wheelchair and that wasn't going to happen. She just turned 92 and she does walk with a walker so for her it was a good thing. Sending prayers.

Ladybug, sorry about your kids and grandkids. Flooding has been really terrible this year. It seems to get worse every year. Floods and fires...it makes you stop and wonder what the future brings.

I couldn't tell if he had spurs because he had feathers on his feet. I made him go into the nearest driveway. Then found his owners. Love seeing the chick pics.
The chicken you saved probably was wondering "Why did the chicken cross the road"?. Hope your all alright. Hugs Mary

Hello, When your mother had this done did she have anything else going on like diabetes or heart issues? My dad has both so I just wondered. Well he wears a pace maker now, and his diabetes is getting worse. I am so glad that it worked out well for your mom.

Sorry to hear of all the flooding. I have watched it on the news. The fires too are terrible. Just so many things.
