Pat that is such a great chicken you got from Melanie. It is a real cutie. Melanie you did a great job on it. I love that fabric.

I home schooled my son for part of the 7th grade, and all of 8th. I had him involved in many activities along with his classes.

Dad is ok lynnie, but doesn't like where he is. Thanks for prayers girls.

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

I just call it Civil War. It could be patriotic or just stars. But it came out cute. Didn't sound like a lot of good stuff at the fair but I'm sure they had lots of good eats. Happy Birthday Mr. Lynnie
It's a rainy day here and starting to get humid. I'm going to JoAnn's to see what Thermolam is. I bought a pattern for potholders and it called for Insul brite that I have but also the Thermolam. Everytime I go there I hardly use a coupon as everything is on sale.
Susan I hope your father is ok
I hope my son has a good trip home from Milwaukee today. His band played in Chicago on Friday and Milwaukee last night. It's kind of scary going to Chicago but not very safe in Ferguson, Mo. Can't we all just get along.
Everyone have a great day

Happy Sunday everyone, we have had off and on showers since we got up, stopped long enough for us to get into church, some weren't so lucky... Rained a few stray times during mass and then when we were ready to leave it quit..
The Lord is Good.. Light a candle for all those with any kind of problems, health or otherwise... Hope they help some...
Have a question for you all. Do you get tired of me always making the flowers as my Pin cushion??? I have other ideas but really like the way these come out and can do different things with them... Know you all are going to say they are okay etc... but hey give me the truth, please... Thanks...

personally, i love the flower pin cushions. kinda neat looking. I say if you're good t it, flaunt it!!!
Like you did, just alter the type of fabric every month. every once in awhile, i can't figure out what to do and fall back on an old favorite, it comes out great and looks nice too. so go for it.
I'll be off to Joann's shortly myself to gt some stuffing, unless that's on sale too. gotta use the 50% off coupon. It's in Zoey's name, I'm sure she won't mind me using it at all.
Have a great day all.

I love the flower pincushions! I think anyone who gets one would love it. Go with what you like to do and are comfortable with.

I too, am partial to the hot pink one. If in the future it needs a home, my door is always open,('cept when it' locked to keep the robbers out, then you have to knock). They yellow center one looks like it could be for turkey day, Kinda looks like a turkey butt, with it up in the air. it's all in how you interpret it. The red, green and gold one could be for Christmas. Just sayin'.

Those flower pincushions are nice. Maybe you could make one for the ones that didn't get them yet. It stopped raining and the sun is out and now it's getting humid again. The weather on the tv say 88-90 next week. It figures when the kids are starting school. It sure doesn't seem like summer is almost done. It's been a NICE cooler summer here.
