Another cute chicken pincushion and a cute purse pincushion. I'm supposed to have thunderstorms for the next 6 days and warmer weather too. I knew this cool weather was too good to last. AC went on this afternoon. This was a great swap and can't wait for the next one. For the feedback go to the person's name and go down to Feedback Score and click on the number that is blue and it takes you to the feedback section

Kat, like Pat said click on the colored number (Pats # is 4 under her avatar) above my message. That takes you to where you can leave that person feedback. If you need more help let us know.

Karen our temp at 5AM this morning was 80*, and yesterday know it hit 100* not sure what the heat index was... We are looking at really high temps for the next week here also, almost unbearable... Humidity is unusually high too. Yes we are usually cooler up here then you are but not so much this year...
I have one of those Pincushions like Jan made, not sure who I received it from was in a SP swap but just love it, don't do the SP swaps right now as I have those 3 purses to get done and 4 kids quilts to get quilted so have plenty to do, never get tired of making those flowers have made close to 100 of them, now am getting more inventive and putting them on things that hold candy or whatever... Depending on whose name I get this next time will determine what I do, collecting purple fabric as I don't have much of it so will pick up a FQ or two tomorrow... Think I know what I am doing for October... Okay Lynnie over here to the right, no a bit lower, okay you got it, now tell me what you are making for November, I promise I won't tell SIS ( Mary)... or anyone else... You tell me and I will tell you...

Glad to see that you are going to be back. It's 85 here today and the dewpoint is going up to 70 by 7:00. They keep saying thunderstorms but it sure doesn't look like it. I think it's going to be "SUMMER" here all week and it might get up to 88. I liked it better at 50. This is the frog pincushion I finished today and my Civil War doll quilt top. I started another one last night with just the flowers sewn together with not spaces. I already have another one that needs to be finished. I think I like making just the tops. Everyone have a great day.

Pat, I love the frog! Where did you get the pattern? Also your doll top is nice too. I think I like it with the spacers.

LOVE!!!!LOVE that froggie. so darn cute. love the hexes with the spacers too. I'm making my son an Oriental quilt for his bday. He's into all that wang chung and tea ceremonies and such. been into it since he was 3. He buys tea at 250/lb. (yes you read that right $250/lb only buys an ounce of it). I'm trying to find oriental sqs. about 5" no one has them, any ideas???? i'm open. Keepsake doesn't have them either.

November....I have no idea yet. my turkey was a flop. Sewed all day, and into the night i hope. it's 78*here.
catch you all later.

Oh, someone on this thread wrote me the most beautiful poem ever. thank you !!!!
