That is such a cute frog. I had a little boy bring me a tiny tree frog one day a few years ago. I took it home, and got out a gallon size glass jar to create it a little home. It lived a long time. lol.. After it passed away the little boy wanted to bring me a bullfrog, but I told him that would be ok. lol...

The little quilt is so pretty too. Those are tiny hexies aren't they?

Lynnie those squares you are looking for sound pretty. I hope you find some.

Glad you'll be back Susan. Pat love the frog and quilt. Sis no you didn't hear me........ I'm going to try to post a tute on making the heart bookmarks. First cut 2 hearts approx. 4" wide by 3 1/2 " tall one is the front with the little triangle the other is the back.( in my pictures the pink is the front. ) next on the front heart only cut about 1" off the bottom on the point. Then cut a triangle on the fold of fabric.using the point of the heart as a pattern and cut it about 1 1/2" tall. layer as in pic. 2 .layer whole heart face up then triangle then front face down. sew completely around heart. picture 3

You can then trim around it with pinking shears if you want. turn right side out.Don't forget after turning to flip up the triangle. and smooth out heart.

I want that frog, he is adorable! You could make a green frog dressed in purple. Well my needle book and pincushion are in transit. I think they came out cute. I am not sure if I will join next month, if I do it will be for only 1 item. I am hosting a quilt retreat in Sept. And have an awful lot to do, but it will be worth it.

Finally press smooth. Last pictures a couple I have made. The dark one is all one color and was the original I received a couple years ago. You can fussy cut them to have a cute picture or design on each side.Ta da third picture is how to use it. Hope this all makes sense. Just ask if you have questions.

Mary thank you so much for that tutorial for the pretty bookmarks. I can't wait to try one. I have books all over so I love all kinds of bookmarks, and then want to make the lady at the post office one.

Dwina I know you are busy, but I do hope you can join in again. I usually do one at a time. Tell your daughter I said hello. I can't wait to see what you made, and I know they will be so nice.
