Quercus, hope you feel better soon. A horrible shame not to be able to climb onto your mailbox, poor thing!

GREAT SP pkgs. going out this month. THANK YOU to TOO MANYUFOS....my pkg arrived yesterday. HAd a HUGE 2.5 yard chunk of really pretty kitty fabric ( ALREADY know I will make some totes out of this fabric ) hand lotion, cards, a pretty fall color orange red wash cloth with a kitty shape knitted within the cloth, and a fall color kit to make either a pillow or two placemats. ( I plan to make the placemats ). VERY nice chunk of fabric.. thank you so much.

I am grateful as to my sp pkg arriving yesterday aug. 20... It would of been my dear hubbys birthday and a group of my friends and sister went to the ocean to spread some of his ashes on his birthday....so it was very nice to come home to a pkg . in the mail on a emotional day. BLESS YOU Dawina. :-)

Wow. Been a tough month for me and I received my secret pal package yerstday from Jan Rutherford. You touched my heart. What a great package. The Disciple's Cross is wonderful. I love it. All the homemade goodies are just what I love. Thank you for the thoughtful package. I love the coasters too. Handmade is my favorite.

It's one of the new mini hallmark ones (and I think it is the ONE I didn't put on layaway called Winter Fun with Snoopy. Here's my tree, would love to see a pic of yours! I just moved to a larger tree a few years ago which is why there's so much space... I am sure it will fill up soon!

Just got a call from the UPS store in my building at work. I dropped my 2 secret pal packages off on the 15th and apparently they were just found on the shelf. They have assured me they went out today with the mail delivery. So, if you are on the bench, rest assured 2 will be off soon. The packages I ordered each of you should arrive today, my hope was the package would be there first. If you recieved a goodie in the mail and have on idea who it is from and are on the bench, probably me.

quiltingdragon love that Snoopy tree. I will admit though that I do not have as many Snoopy ornaments however I do have lots of stuff Snoopy's and memorabalia like the Nativity set to decorate. I found that CVS is the best place to find such items at good prices when they offer it for the season. Thank you for sharing the photo! Just love it!

I received a lovely package from NancyW last evening. I received a pattern I have wanted for a long time. Owl hot pads. Know what my secret pal next month is getting. She also made me an awesome sewing/quilting bag that is fabulous as I am always on the go. Cannot wait to read the books ad am going to make a prayer shawl out of the yarn. Thank you for an awesome package. Love the blocks too.

We just got our first CVS in town this last year, and one is opening near me soon, thanks for the tip! I do also have a lot of the decor. Now i need to do something with all the peanuts Christmas fabric! My aunt started my ornament collection when I was 9 (I think) so that is 22 years of collection you are looking at!

Here's a quick update about Lori. I've edited it a little bit for her privacy. Keep up the prayers for her!

"My epidural came out of my back and was leaking out some they decided to pull off the tape which is VERY sticky off with a quick jerk and made me cry (darn) them anyway!
Before that happen they had planned on taking it out today but numbing it first so it wouldn't hurt and then getting me started on the good stuff as my Dr. said right away. I will be going home tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. They have me on (secret formula)! I am walking with my walker and getting along pretty well. I asked then to cut back on drugs this rounds and then go the full course when I go to bed tonight. They are coming in to give me a breathing treatment now so will sign off for now."
