Robinlee those blocks are Gorgeous!! I sure hope you get the measurement worked out. The advice everyone has given you so far is the best I would be able to offer myself. Like feline fanatic pointed out, her methods are for speed piecing, and sometimes I find that method can get "wonky".

I have 8 blocks done, 4 to go for the one set I signed up for. I am really bummed because the pattern I used to make a disappearing 9 patch turned out with a 12.5" 9 patch. If I do the cut and turn, it will only be 12", so I have to stop there. There are 4 half square triangles, so it's not totally boring, but I don't have enough batik fabric to cut another set. So they won't be fancy designs, but I like the colors and hope others will too. Will try to post pics when I can. Got caught up in the X-Block class I took last weekend and have been making that quilt since.

I have one set nearly done. I used batik fabric strips I had cut up a while ago (years) and put them with a nice complimentary fabric. That set is nearly there.

Then i have just part of the next set cut and have to finish cutting the rest. Having a bit of trouble cutting, but will work at it. progressing along

How is everyone else doing? Looking forward to seeing some beautiful blocks.

I mailed my 2 sets of blocks on Saturday. I used a 12.5" omnigrid ruler to check sizes. I never sweated so much over any blocks I have made but this is my first swap. I hope they are okay and everyone likes them!
