Doll Quilt Swap #7 -- November/December Secret Swap
You won't swap with a partner this time around. You won't know who your swap partner is until you receive the quilt. It's all hush, hush, surprise.
The doll quilt swaps have been great fun. We just started in May, but we've grown from 12 swappers to 40+! There are some links below if you want to see the beauties that have been created.

DOLL QUILT SWAP GUIDELINES
SIZE: from 12”x12” to 24”x24”…any size or shape in between.
MATERIALS: natural fibers/cotton, wool, linen
EMBELLISHMENTS: if you want to use them, feel free…beads, rickrack, buttons, doilies, ribbon, lace…anything or nothing at all.
CONSTRUCTION: Pieced, appliquéd, wholecloth, or yo-yos; quilted by hand or machine; and bound.
LABEL: It is recommended that you attach a label to the back of your quilt. I know, this can be a bit scary for some people though, so it will not be a requirement. A label is however a very nice addition to any handmade quilt. Whether or not you decide to label your quilt, please do include a note with your quilt with your quilting board name, real name and contact information (snail mail address and/or email address, etc. so that they can thank you). And I probably don't have to say this, but when you receive something, please thank the sender.
PARTNERS: I will send you a PM with the board name and address of your partner. Keep this a secret this time around! You will surprise your partner with a handmade doll quilt!
DUE DATE: The deadline for all quilts to be sent is December 31, 2009.
COMMUNICATION: If for any reason you cannot meet the deadline or you need to drop out of this swap, please let me know as soon as you know. If you communicate any setbacks with me I can make sure things work out favorably for your partner, no hard feelings.
SIGN UP: Sign up begins today and ends October 31, 2009. I’ll PM you with your partner's information after that date.
If you would like to sign up, send me a PM with your address. Please let me know if you are willing to send internationally as we have several members outside of the US.
