Today I received blocks from:

1. Blue Chicken
2. ai731 (2 sets)
3. mountain quilter
4. Jerrie

That makes 40 sets received.

They'll be mailed out around the 14th-15th. I want to make sure I've received everyone's before swapping.

I'm a bit of a delinquent. With family in for 10 days- I am 10 days behind. Anyway- they are done but I missed mailing at post office today- caught in traffic 1 1/2 hrs. away at a closing. Good thing I was counting on blue's long mailing time. :)

But, gives me a chance to bring home the camera and post pics.

Actually, I love the blocks, I must say I'm getting better all the time and am impressed with myself. Sorry, don't mean to pat myself on the back, but sometimes I wonder whether I am of the caliber of some of the board members here.

Looking forward to receiving the blocks!

I think that all of us get better with practice (I think I have gotten better, too) and doing these block swaps sure gives you that!! I've seen some of your stuff, and you're no slouch! I'd be proud to get one of yours.... :D :D

I saved the scraps from my blocks. I think I will play with them and make some pot holders for my gf- she loves b&y. You should have seen her go nuts when I brought the blocks in to the office to take pics before sending them off. She keeps hinting about a throw. Finally I told her I was working on one for her daughter, who loves the Mets, for Christmas. It's orange, blue and white. She kept saying she hopes there's a b&y one under the tree too.

She's funny- of course there will be one- but not with my swap blocks- that's for me!

I'm going to get going on my DJ blocks. Not due until Oct. But I love the stuff I picked out and the block I'm doing. Would be cool to finish and mail before the end of the month.

I got kgoodhand's blocks from Canada today. I should be able to swap next week. Bettia and Barm's blocks should be here this week yet.

Am I waiting on anyone else's?
