Gaijin-- lovely fabric! I see a star with a gorgeous focal pattern! Loving all the different fabrics. Speaking of which, mine are all different! Use as little or as much as you want. Go scrappy happy!

I know this is probably not the right place to put this, but I wanted you ALL to know why I have dropped out of this Boom.
My sister passed away on Monday. Long story short. She went into the hospital last Tues. On friday the very tough and heart breaking choice was made to take her off life support.
I need to be here for her boys right now as they go through this unexpected life changing event.
I have never dropped out before and I hope you all understand. I will be back, just need family time right now.
I hope you all have had a very Merry Christmas!
God Bless you all.

Penny--, I'm sure we all understand! My heart goes out to you and your family. It is always so difficult to lose a loved one and during this time of love and celebration of family it seems to be especially painful. So sorry. Wishing you strength, and faith and love .

Thank you for letting us all know Country 1. You are so right to be there for her boys, your family needs to bond together at this time. You will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers.

Penny I am so sorry. My b-I-L fell two weeks ago and my nephews also had to decide to remove life support. It's been a very emotional roller coaster. Hate to hear your family is also going through this

Penny, I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for peace and timely healing. This is such a hard time to lose someone. I know, I lost my Mom on a Dec. 23rd. We will miss you in this Boom, but we all certainly understand. See you for the next one.

Good morning everyone! As you may have read, Country1 has withdrawn (utterly understandable, our best thoughts and wishes are with her and her family) but we have a replacement for her in both groups. GroovyPieces will be joining the swap. This will be her first time in a swap like this so please do welcome her.

We are getting close to the deadlines and it looks like everyone in F&F has shipped. I'm still waiting for packages but another one should be coming in today.

Thank you to everyone. You've all cooperated wonderfully with me and you'll all have your F8s very soon to start block making!

So sorry about all the loss. Loosing a loved one is so difficult and being the holidays only increases the sorrow. Prayers are with you and yours through this awful time!
