Good morning everyone! As you may have read, Country1 has withdrawn (utterly understandable, our best thoughts and wishes are with her and her family) but we have a replacement for her in both groups. GroovyPieces will be joining the swap. This will be her first time in a swap like this so please do welcome her.

We are getting close to the deadlines and it looks like everyone in F&F has shipped. I'm still waiting for packages but another one should be coming in today.

Thank you to everyone. You've all cooperated wonderfully with me and you'll all have your F8s very soon to start block making![/QUOTE

Hello Everyone . . . I'm Groovy Pieces & I'm delighted to be joining the swap, although I wish it were under happier circumstances. I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to those who've experienced loss at such a celebratory time of year.

I won't lollygag or hold up the swap; I plan to be at the Post Office by 1630hrs TODAY (26 Dec 13)
. Here is my fabric choice; I LOVE LOVE LOVE BRIGHT COLORS . . . GP

Great fabrics, I also love brights and welcome to the swap.

Thankful we had a great Christmas. Started out horrible with the very emotional funeral and should have ended today when my son was supposed to leave for Neveda but my gift to him was his airfare and I went the inexpensive route and bought his tickets with Spirit Airlines. Never ever again. They cancelled his flight and said they could rebook him in 4 or 5 days. Good grief will be so glad when life gets back to it's normal quiet self Terriamn

To all of you who have lost loved ones, I send my condolences. It wasn't long ago that I also lost my mom on Christmas eve and know all to well how devastating it can be to the family. My prayers are with you.

A hearty welcome to all those that have joined in our swap. I'm loving the vibrate colors of all the fabrics and can't wait to play with your fabrics.

Janice, do you know if the flat rate envelopes are going up in price the end of January? I went to po today and they said regular stamps are going to 49 cents. I asked about the envelopes but they said they didn't know yet. It might affect what we owe you if you have to pay more..Just let us know!! When I send my blocks back to you I put another stamped envelope in with them so you can send my blocks back to me right?? Just wanting to do it right!

Just an FYI for future swaps, the priority envelopes purchased on line are a forever price, so whatever the rate is when you buy them, they will work even later when the price goes up. Also, they come with a tracking number. No waiting in line either to buy them or send them. I also included one in the package, so 15 f8ths, 15 slide lock baggies, and a pre-stamped return envelope all. Fit in a priority envelope. Good to know! 8-)

Janice-
My return priority envelope has stamps on it. I think I'll just go ahead and send you a few dollars now because I know the rate will surely increase. I don't want you to be stuck with extra postage for my package. (Plus I'm anxious to get all my little pretties so I can play with them!) This way, if there's an increase in price at least there won't be a delay waiting for additional postage to arrive before sending out again.

Good morning ladies! Just an fyi to let you know I have seen the news re: increasing USPS rates. They won't change until 1/26 so this round of mailings will be fine. Let's just keep an eye on the rates for priority in the meantime. It shouldn't amount to more than a small amount anyway, 3% is what I think I read.

F&F, we are getting close! The last 2 packages for this group are in transit and one should be here today. That means, in all likelihood, I'll be mailing the F&F group's f8s out next week sometime, a bit ahead of schedule. Those who are in both groups and have requested combined mailings, will have theirs sent out with the S&E group.

Ladies, the squishies are practically in your hands!!!!

Default F&f - let the sorting begin!

All F8s are in for this group. As promised, I begin sorting immediately! If I'm VERY LUCKY, I'll be able to have enough time to finish tonight and mail tomorrow. No promises though. Life here remains tumultuous and at any given moment, anything can happen but I've got my fingers crossed AND a husband who will try to run interference for me this evening. We'll see!

Oh, my....squishies everywhere!!!
