I dropped my fabric in the mail during lunch today. I will send an email with the tracking info tonight.

Thank you for responses that have liked it. I look forward to see what you ladies will do with it.

I am going to be following this thread and also the 2 month one. It sounds like an interesting swap. Looking forward to joining the next round, even have my padded envelopes from the PO, they came in the mail today.\

I hope you like what you see and decide to join in the future. If you've already got your envelopes, it's time to start thinking about your fabric. it's never too soon!

Everyone who hasn't been in touch with me should have received my email about an hour ago. Please reply and let me know when you plan to ship. I suggest you do it sooner rather than later as the f8s are due in my hands on Saturday, December 27. The holidays really slow down the mail and even USPS Priority mail can take a couple of extra days. Thank you!

One of my current projects is an underground railroad quilt. Most of the blocks will come from a swap. I am wanting to incorporate butterflies into the quilt, I think they are a perfect symbol of change and freedom. I have kept my eye out for a butterfly fabric to use as sashing and I have found the perfect one. Not a frilly butterfly fabric, old and woodsy feel, neutral colors and a linear print. And even better ..................... on sale, so drum roll please .................................................. ...

Here it is

I Went to see the Nutcracker last night ,by the Orlando Ballet, at the new Dr. Phillips Center, downtown Orlando. What a performance. Will be spending Christmas at the beach house this year. Looking at different block patterns, looking forward to making blocks with all the different fabrics. To all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
