I am in a dilemma and need this groups help.
I have received 12 of the 15 blocks back however there is a small problem. Some of those I received DID NOT put there username anywhere on the envelope or inside to let me know who they are so I'm unable to match up usernames given us on this list with some of the names on the envelopes.
I have sent everyone a PM this morning asking that y'all respond with your username and your full name so I can match you up.
In sending out these PM's I found the username Missus Fear and wandalou is not found as a member of this board. I attempted serveral times to send the PM to them and each returned as not members of the board. Is it possible they changed there username or its spelled wrong or have they really left us? I have no idea what there real name is and can't match them up with blocks I made.
I'm still trying to figure out who the 3 persons are that I have not yet received a block from to match up with username and name.
I'm hoping all members of the Sapphire Group will respond to my PM with there username and real name so I can match up the blocks that were sent to me by them.
ON ANOTHER NOTE I have 12 of my blocks complete and other three are cut up and just need to sew them up. I have all my envelopes ready to go for all 15 of them and will all be mailed out by end of next week and actually if I have my way by Wednesday of next week coming up.
I definitely am a virgin sewer and quilter so your blocks are really simple ones and I hope it will be to your liking enough from a newbie. I have done my very best to get you a 12 1/2 block. There is no block name for this, traditional anyway, cause I don't tend to use block patterns. I create what I see in my mind with fabric in hand and I also did not want to mess it up and purposely made it a simple one.
I will sometime next week take pictures of all the wonderful blocks y'all have made and upload them here on the board. Y'all are so talented and have a good eye for matching colors. I can only hope to be half as good as y'all some day.
This is definitely an out of the box experience for me since I don't normally do swaps. I found it fun to do and try and find fabrics to match what y'all sent.
