I would never buy fabric from Wal Mart ever again. I bought some and put it in my quilt and it still shrank and I had to rip the whole top out and redo it. I never trust Wal Mart and always prewash Joann fabric. I have a hard time prewashing anything, but if I would every buy from any other store except a reputable quilt store, I am sure to prewash. Depending on my project, sometimes I do not prewash fabric for a specific quilt because I want a little squishy feel to it. Wal Mart fabric shrinks nearly 4 - 5". Very poor thread count.

Beautiful Christmas block.
As for the chat about Wal-mart. I picked up their 25 - 10 inch squares on sale. lol -- They are now less than 9 inches after washing. It was cheap and I knew it was cheap, but dang. That is a lot of shrinkage.

Has anyone seen the little "mini bolts" that our store has? They are either 1 yard or 2 per bolt. They also had some F8's and charm packs and jelly rolls but its definately NOT the material I thought they were bringing back! Im truely disappointed in Wal Mart, at they selection and there "idea" of what fabric should be. They are definately losing money out of the deal because I wont buy there again.
