Elizabrat there is alot of doubles for diamonds and rubies. I still sent each one in a separate envelope because I have a different fabric for the smaller swap. I have 2 containers, 1 marked diamonds and 1 marked rubies. Then as I get them I will put envelope in container according to group. I guess if they are sent together, I'll split them up and just grab another envelope and separate them. I just think I can keep track of them better for me. As I send them out I put any unused fabric in that envelope and keep it until the very end. Sometimes if they ask I return the fabric or I am known to make 2 blocks instead of 1 to send back. Last boom sustraley's fabric sent to 1 member somehow got lost and I had enough to send her so she could make a block for sustraley. It all works out. Just whatever is easier for you.

1 more thing, alot of my "fruity or vege" fabric is not washed, I could only get some of it in FQ's or 1/2 yds. I am aware of that and I figure when someone gets my fabric and decides what to do with it there is no way you can wash every little bit to go with it. After I finish putting it together and quilting etc. then when I wash it, I just add a color catcher or 2 and have never ever had any problem, even white white, red, blue....The only time I have been addiment on washing is batiks, they are a totally different story.

Zippity do da... man you have energy Linda~ I love bugs, any kind of bug... My sister is a Lady bug collector so that is what got I just manage to collect all kinds of bug fabric. I am even sending out a fabric with apples and Bees on it. I want to make a quilt for a special friend who is a teacher and going through a very rough patch. I think it will be really cute to make it like a ABC or 123, any thing that would be like a school. She teaches usually 2nd or 3rd grade, such fun ages.

But I sent out 3 different fabrics, two are Christmas and the one for the Teacher, and a little bit of all three have gone to both groups.

OK off to run, have a good one ladies~

This is a great idea. I'm double checking who is in this group and who joined SharonB's siggi swap. I think I'll see about combining them...
(PS...everyone should go do the siggi's too )

Elisabrat, you have me in stitches! I have to admit I am a little on the crazy side of life. But I don't cook, Hubby is the cook in the family, we realized he likes it, I don't. He is much much much better than I am at cooking. But I do bake, so we share the duties, summer time is salad time, lots of salads.

Don't stress too much I just checked and you are going to be getting a Christmas flora from me. Just match the colors best as you can and I will be happy.

You would have fun at our house on Halloween, we have huge spiders that move and make noises, and icky webs every where. I really don't like most bugs either but I haven't seen any on fabric yet I don't like.

But... they say that if you can imagine it some body has put it on fabric... Soooooo you never know what you might see.

We took a drive up to Lake Arrowhead and played the tourist. I went through all the cute shops that only a tourist town can do up. Selling stuff you get at the dollar store for a lot more than a dollar! But I love to go to the boutiques to get ideas on things to make to sell in our booth for the Christmas Bazaars. We have been making some really cute banks out of Paper Mache and fabric, I am going to try to make some bird houses.

Everyone is going to include their instructions about colors and fabrics right? I haven't been taking notes. Am I in deep sh*t now?

My fabric is going out tomorrow. Midget has camp at 8am and then I'm going to park my behind at the post office until they open. My favorite postal clerk is going to wish he'd called in sick because I didn't put postage on a single envelope (I didn't have stamps).

I stuck a 2.5" x 3" label made of the F8 fabric in each envelope along with a little note about colors and stuff. My son thought I was taking too long getting the envelopes packed up so he helped by cutting apart my notes for each one. He's 8 and a little spastic with scissors. So, when you see the cutting job on the paper, PLEASE realize it was him. I don't generally drink while I'm crafting and I'm pretty darn OCD (legitimately diagnosed, thank you military service) so it is driving me nuts knowing you all's first impression of my work will be that awful crooked cutting. It wasn't me!! I swear!

And, Elisabrat, we had baked ravioli with garlic bread. 100% lazy meal. Doogie (my husband) hates red sauce. Midget (my son) would drink it with a straw from a barrel if he could.

I'm about to go make some of the pot-pie apple pies that Banquet just came out with. Drown it in vanilla ice cream and it actually tastes legit.
