On the postal due issue: I know for a fact when I mailed out the fabric it was on the line of 45 and 65c overall. Mailing back however you have to consider a couple factors: sometimes you send a bit of scrap back with your block this is small but it weights something. THEN maybe a note, then when you sew a block you are adding bulk by seams/thread and the block never folds as thin as a flat piece of fabric. This means it can rarely be machined and hand cancelled is automatically 65 or more.. a lot of mine are over $1 to send back so you simply I think can not just toss them in the mailbox and assume a weight. IF YOUR POST OFFICE says its on the line go for the bigger cost.. a few cents is not much and if you have to mail a quarter to your recipient out of a need to make things right look how much extra it is with the cost of your new postage/envelope and time. So check double check and I think go for the bigger amount. Its a lot of money in the end but most of us are mailing one to three back at a time so its not horrible in little amounts like that and you end up not embarassed and your block more likely hand cancelled not mangled. just a thought. I have a mountain of those free of charge. off to make fraews block. I have the fabrics not a patterrn busy search morning.

Grownup blocks going ou today to Mosher92 and Tam Moo. I received an absolutely lovely block from Lv2sew2011! Thank you!
girlscouts1- I will send you another F8, as it was mailed out to you on 8/27 and is obviously on vacation somewhere in the postal system.
The only f8's I have not received are from Lv2sew2011, marcialee, daisey and 1000projects.
I have mailed out all other grownup blocks, so let me know if you have not received one.

Haven't gone to the PO yet today but will update later. I have had all my envelopes weighed and hand canceled from my PO so hopefully they should be fine. If someone has had to pay please let me know.

Missing you ladies, got 8 quarts of tomatoe soup made, loosing count on pickles, and have to get salsa done as well. Busy world at my end. Will hopefully get to some blocks. have not received anything new since post earlier this week. Will let you know how well I do at fair on Monday, going on Sunday. Having to deal with a daughter, 21, who is "in love" for the first time and we have to meet this boy. Oh the protectiveness of my DH is so adorable. That poor boy better never hurt his little girl or I would not want that boy to feel the wrath of my DH. Oh my. Got to get to work again talk soon.

Heading to PO office with some more squishes going home.

Quiltermomma, have fun meeting the boy of her dreams. I found out early on that if I showed to great of a dislike, she hung on to relationship longer than if I was more neutral... It is so tough to see them grow up and test their wings with finding a mate!

Egad aint that the truth marybeth. MADD is mothers against daughters dating, DADD same thing.. oh dear its contagious. My daughter who is 21is in love too. Perfect boy.. 22 egad.. uh well i tell her to enjoy love its wonderful. Ok I also said like there are million fish in the sea no need to stop fishing quite yet girly, finish college first.

i received an amazing block from fraew today. Honeycomb hexi block something I have not done and cant see myself ever doing the time put into the block astounds me. Thank you very much. I also received a block that as i was opening I thought no I didnt send that then tada when it opened out there in fact were the bees hiding in the middle and the colors match perfectly with everything else.. she is just going to flip when she sees this bee quilt. I will score 1000 extra points as the big sister who is the mostest.. ok I will tell her there was a ton of help getting there. Thank you all so very much. A smile to my day.. not a bad thing at all.

Better go finish that one block, got a bit carried away. I accidentally adopted a kitten. Told the hubby it accidentally jumped in that box right there, then into the car that amazing kitten and it walked that box all the way into the house so it has to stay. he just said oh ok? told him right answer.. will post pics when he wears himself off. He is 4.5 months old so not as tiny as the others, and well was black. With all the pretty kitties they cant give them away. $25 for a fixed kitten, all the vaccinations and leukemia testing, flea treating and a free vet visit included.. all black kittens go off the market as of monday until November by then they look like caats who adopts them so.. sucker here.. it needed me as much as i did. My cats are only mildly peturbed. Get over it. They will always do

last note anyone here aware that April has been having a real tough time lately? hows about sending her some getwell cheer cards via real mail. We all know how fun real mail is. I have her address if you would like to send her a real note. She has sure done a lot for us.
