I received marcialee's F8 today. Sorry...putting that beauty in my stash and replacing it with something else. Did my F8 make its way to you?

And...I received this beauty from Chewboo:

1000projects

lovingizabella- side swap
Luv2sew2011
quiltingmommy-side swap

I did receive F8 today from-

daisey
marcialee

If you send them out already hopefully they'll come in soon and I will let you know.

All my F8s went out 8/25. If you did not recieve my F8 yet please let me know. I was not able to keep track of everyone if they received it or not.

I think all of the patterns I used came from online. If anyone wants to know where to find a pattern that I made a block from just ask me.

Hi y'all! I think that any size heart block will be fine, sort of a sampler for April. Big, little, wonky, whatever-fits-your- mood sizes. Just include a note of support and/or sign it. If she wants us to put it together later on we can, but I know that sewing and quilting help her cope with everything she goes through, so she may enjoy playing with the blocks herself.
The temps here finally are below 90, I'm heading for the kayak today!

ok I am back a few slashes, are we making heart blocks to send to april and if so are there any conceptual sizes/colors please. I can whip one up today and who do i send it to? April? or to you twinrivers or charlotte marie in rubies? sign me up for one. Never done a heart before but can I do a basket with flowers and hearts? have a pattern for this I think. applique.

I wish everyone a grand sewing day. I am hoping to do at least two blocks, one wall hanging and well a heart and a bunch of strawberry jam which I am off to do right now. Gotta love that smell of warm cooking jam.. hows about coffee/tea and muffins and jam? say 9 or 9:30 a.m. would be fine, come on over. gotta run or we will be wishing for jam not eating it.

I like the scrappy heart block charlottemarie and I think April will too. The last time we all made orange blocks and sent her...she loved them and made her self a giant orange hug quilt! She faces a lot of difficulties with her health and Izabella's issues but she always comes back to us stronger then before! So..if we just keep praying for her and sending her our love offerings...she will be ok!

Yep, having one of those sewing days! I just can not get the hang of PP. I did a pretty block for moonrise and it is 12 1/4" and not quite as flat as I would like. I don't understand the scant 1/4" thing w/ PP, isn't that the point - you sew on the lines so you don't have to make sure you are exactly 1/4"??? I'm off to make a second block for her. I will include both in case you can make the 1st one work or make a pillow or something out of it.

I want to try to work outside some today since it is FINALLY cool enough for me - 60's. I LOVE Fall! Later I can come back in and have some hot tea and some of elisabrat's strawberry jam and muffins - awwww
