Default boom 7 quilt

okay girlscouts1 I got it measured and mine is 6 X 7 blocks set with 1 1/2" finished sashing on sides and bottoms. Then I put a narrow 1" (1 1/2unfinished) border and another 2 1/2" finished border on the top, bottom and sides. Mine measures 84 1/2" X 98 1/2". Then I measured if you do the same size sashing, you should have about a 57 1/2 X 82" for a 4 X 6 setting, for a 5 X 5 you would have about 71 1/2 X 71 1/2". If you wanted the 82" length but wider you could either make 6 more blocks and add extra wide sashing on the outsides. Hope this maybe helps you decide what will work best for you.

Ooooh, pretty quilt!

I'm getting caught up from the weekend, and will post an update momentarily. We biked almost 17 miles this weekend. Whew! Not too bad for someone who hasn't been on a bike since she was a little kid. My husband built me a recumbent trike, and I'm pedaling all over the place.

That is GORGEOUS!!!! I didn't receive all my blocks back. I have 27 blocks.... so it would be either 6x4 or 5x5.... I unfortunely don't have any more fabric either to make more... so decisions..... Since fewer blocks, was thinking 2 1/2 inch sashing.... I can post what I have and see what you think....

Nice blocks!! Thanks everyone, wish the lighting was a little better in my living room at night but I really love this quilt. I'm going to put it on the love seat in the TV room downstairs. It will look wonderful and I'll get to look at it all the time since my long arm table and machine is set up in there. I did make 4 blocks and have 2 left that I received a little late so I'm going to make some throw pillows to go with it. Gees, I'll have the best of 2 worlds, I get to look at it alot and if I get tired I can just lay down and rest my noggin' for awhile.
Forgot to add, so proud of you Quiltermomma, you did great at the fair and you should be very proud!!! It''s alot of hard work plus all the other stuff you've had to do with the garden and all. Take a breather for a little bit, you so deserve it.
Elisabrat didn't get there for dinner, sorry, but I'm sure it is delicious!

Moonrise, I just can't wait to see your finished quilt, it is going to be so beautiful.

I am sending blocks home to Daisey, Tam Moo and Nancia.

No squishies in the mail for me. Everyone that sent me and F8 should either have their block or have it shortly. Please let me know if you did not get your block. And thank you so much for being in the Swap with me, I have really learned a lot by swapping little bits of fabric!
I am missing 1000 projects, areinn, lv2sew2011, and maricalee.

This has been a really fast swap for me. I am going into phase 2 of my training so I won't be around as much, until after it is done! But I will be here in spirit and once I have this run behind me (my last one for sure for sure) I am going to just do exercise running and leave the distances to the young and younger.

Thanks, Marybeth
