I received all F8's, will be finishing up blocks this weekend, my sewing machine is in the shop, should be out tomorrow, my back up machine is on loan out to a friend and my Embroidery machine, which also is a great sewing machine is busy making cute embroideries. But all should be back to normal on the sewing front tomorrow afternoon.

And I got two more orders for memory quilts! I am so excited, don't have enough time as it is but what a huge blessing to have some work coming in. There is Always time for paying orders!

JABA I AM MAILING MYSELF TO YOU so you had better check your mail quicko. I joined the ornament swap. I usually do a couple gifts for the senior center as well its awfully lonely in there. I have two new ladies who shared my room with me while I was recovering.. one is 91 and the other 94. I need to make something.. a lap blanket for the older one and well shoot the other loves coke and thinks flowers steal the air from the room. She was highly cantankerous but we got along as I didnt take her gruff.. gave it right back. She would glare I would glare back and then she would smile. Pretty cool. so no Secret Santa for me. how about secret valentine? I can do that! lol a bit ahead of myself as always.

I'm still waiting on F8's from:

Lv2sew2011

I got a few more cut last night, none sewed and more fabric washed. I bought a really NICE civil war era fabric that kept bleeding in the wash. After washing it 3 times, the color catcher came out white, so I think I'm good. I had a 2-1/2 year old lil guy who wanted daddy and cried all night. It sucks that daddy has been traveling almost non-stop for the last month and a half. So, I spent some much needed cuddle time on the couch with him watching the Little Mermaid (his first time to see it). I didn't realize how short the movie is when you "bypass" the "scary" scenes. He LOVED it!!! Now...off to get some work done so I can "hopefully" cut and sew tonight.

Received Donna's f8th. I know, still need to let you know grownup blocks, but I have not had time yet. sorry. Will have it organized and ready beginning of next week I am sure. Did 9 quarts of spaghetti sauce last night and garden work all Saturday am then I have customer quilts to get done and my last 6 for UFOs to get to just binding next week, then I get to do these blocks. I have done no sewing since last Sunday which was minimal. Did one binding this week during my lunch breaks and before work at office is all. Bear with me ladies, I will let you know.

I think I have a wonderful job, I get to chat with you ladies while at work. When I get home, I have so much to do that I do not get to use the computer to much. I think my job is the the easy place and home is work.

Default Friday update

Received some pretty snazzy cowboy boots in the mail today from luv2sew, and a "repair kit" from sherir plus another block of potatoes. If a basket of potatoes can be beautiful, I got it!! You did not have to do this Sheri but am telling you it is fabulous. Thank you so much, I love it!!!!
Elisabrat, you lie! You weren't in my mail box, did you send yourself media rate or what???you'll suffocate before you get here, okay I'm blowing cold air for your long journey. Feast your eyes on my luscious potatoes. What's with this won't load, try again later
