It's here it's here! Payday.... so I can make these suffocating blocks (they've been stuffed in their envelopes to sweat in my truck for what.. a week now?) out to you guys. I haven't finished another one to send with them yet but I was working very very diligently on April's last night.. and it's like 3/4 done. And it's Epic... super epic.. I can't wait til she gets it. I was hoping to finish by today to send with the others but no go. I am not proficient at this particular skillset and so it was slow going. I hope I am forgiven for the non perfection to this since this is literally the first time I've done either of the two things involved in making this block. Don't go looking too closely or show it to any experts in the techniques but I think it'll do. I am pondering ripping out a section of it and doing it though. I have to make that decision before I start the rest. If anyone wants to peek.. well.. You can go look.. I have a progress pic up..

Geezers, I gotta' be on a little bit of a roll today. Got some stewed tomatoes done, changed sheets on the bed, dusted and vacummed and sewed some. Did 4 loads of laundry, still have 1 to fold and put away and cleaned 3 bathrooms. Received F8 from daisey and mailed to sustraley, girlscouts1 and jacquie. Didn't get the baby quilt done last night but it will be tonight and in the mail tomorrow. If you want to peek, you can look in my albums. I'm with elisabrat, you're sewing is marvelous anastasia!!

April you sent me the peacock fabric for this swap but I haven't received the 1 for side swap on diamonds. Are you doing different fabric or do you want me to make 2 blocks from your F8?

Heheh no I'm serious I've only been sewing since May. I just am a little OCD and super critical and high standard of myself. Usually that results in me talking myself out of ever trying, or giving up entirely. So I'm pretty proud that I'm FINISHING things for this. This is a lesson in many things for me and it is fun.

Charlottemarie's block will be hopping to her tomorrow. My Dad cracked up at it several times so I do think it's a winner winner chicken dinner.

Of course you can peek on my link if you so desire.

Everyone good day to you all. I think we are hitting some lovely fall weather a bit cooler! woke up and had to close that front door.. (we sleep with it open ok screen is there but it keeps it cool). Frosty toes! wuz it was only 50 sheesh. Still socks are good. I will be mailing back to you your block finished today Immemother hope you enjoy it. I am picking away at the blocks one at a time. And having lots of fun while doing it. April I hope your getting a bit better, you post so little it worries me. You have done so much for the quilting board members is there anything we can do for you? I know your monitoring this even if your not posting so PM me or anyone of us and we would be happy to help as best we can (thank you your spokesman will now turn the microphone back to you)..
