Funny.. I've drafted like 3 blocks tonight and still have not settled on a block that I want to do for immemother. *sigh* I don't know why.. nothing is just quite speaking to me yet. Nothing saying PICK ME PICK ME.. bleh.. Picked fabrics out for CharlotteMarie's, and fixed my piece sizing for Savannah's. And got 2/3 of my math homework done and a paper written.. Haven't turned the tv on once today.. yay for accomplishments. My house looks like a disaster but eh.

Anastasia I have a solution to the disaster problem. Don't look silly goose I wont look either. If no one really looks is it truly a disaster and what ever you do DONT SHOW JABA. she will not do well with that. OR get cleaning (oh so much fun) have a fabric party everyone brings fabric dumps it on your table and then takes turns picking out which ones they want.. and we have margaritas, have a pinata (filled with fat quarters) and then they go flying all over the room, women leaping on your furniture to get them, and chips doing airial numbers and the sweet sound of crunching in your carpet.. now that my sweet girl would be a small disaster. Especially since I cant climb on furniture anymore and would miss out on the best piece of fabric from your pinanta. So see? you have nothing to stress..

I am stuck on a block for the other group. Pretty little almost calico but no instructions to use only whats in the fabric, not use the colors in the fabric and use say black or white only.. argh. and the kids are sleeping til probably eternity in the sewing room and I cant go get another piece envelope to work on. OH DEAR, now that is a problem. I guess I will be forced to go look at everyone elses albums and see what they made. oh dear such a hard job.. eye candy all of it. You should go to the diamonds albums Rubiets as there are so many wonderful blocks to see.. it will tease you into doing a big swap next time and no twiddling of thumbs waiting for this to end and another to start. And if that happens sign up to do TWO HUGE SWAPS. Next time someone will throw in a jar of salsa or tomatos as incentive for you to join (hint hinto).

Hey now, I won't look if there's FQ's and margarita's, that's the best of 2 world's. By the end of the night be sure you show me where the nearest pillow is or just throw it on the floor and you'll probably find me in the same spot next morning..Works for me. If the tomatoes are coming from here I guess I better start canning them instead of freezing. The postal service would really come unglued with tomato juice all over everything and you'd have to wash my F8's before you could even sew on them, or I guess just dry em' out and each piece would be tye dyed. Now that's a novel idea?? Might have to try that.

If anyone sends me anything, please note that my zip code is wrong. It should be 36567. When April said check the address, I did not notice it was wrong. It's amazing that I have still gotten everything as far as I know. That will teach me!

Don't worry Jaba, I got them both. I don't think I am missing anything. When April said to check our addresses I just did not notice it. I have a great post office here, they just get it to me.

I was told when worrying about my house becoming VERY messy when the kids came - "Lower your standards"
I did and it worked - and my mom wasn't happy! she is a classic cleanaholic - I on the other hand can go weeks with out lifting a finger.
So today I am not working - and what am I doing - moving all the furniture around and hoping the dust flies off it when I do! Then if I can find the floor I just may vacuum. Taking down the summer pictures and putting up a bit of autumn - thats how I decorate - pictures!! i had done alot of counted cross stictch in my day - before the tendinitous made it too painful - so have all these seasonal pieces that I just switch around. Works for me!
Have a great day!

I've done that tgramma, I must have drove my kids nuts when they were little, but as grown-ups they sure practice putting stuff away and in it's place. They tell me it's easier than having to do a bunch of it. I don't mind the vacumm and the dusting if I have to, but that furniture moving is for the birds. I'd rather just shove a broom behind the couch, swish it back and forth, and hope I got the cobwebs. Gees, now you got me thinking I really should go do this, well maybe tomorrow, just can't seem to get real fired up to get it done today. Swapping out pics for a new look sounds alot easier. I'll just imagine your fall decor and that's even better. You could post a pic and then I can keep it in my mind for a VERY VERY long time.

Hehehe my kitties help with the disaster. I may make a fairly neat pile while I'm working but they look at that pile as something akin to kids jumping in a pile of leaves and they drag it from one end of the house to the other.. Its real fun when I find it in my bathtub. I don't decorate, way too much work, but before i got this smaller-than-a-cracker-box house I used to move my furniture around all the time, it's fun. And my furniture is surprisingly light. But now I have really no other way it can be placed in this house and my tv armoire is like 400lbs no lie it took 3 guys and lots of struggling to get it into my house. It's probably staying with the house when I move hahaha.
That party sounds fun if I'm not the one buying the fabric for it. Cause then I could go get more fabric

We're doing you a very big favor anastasia, you said you didn't have any stash, now's your chance. When did you want all of us to show up? We'll bring some fq's to trade too and help you out, but have the margarita's ready.
