ok today is the day. Have you all ever got so busy with making blocks and you now have material and scraps sort of everywhere. Then to add in that I knit and those projects are also sitting around in various stages and completions.
Plus trying to finish up some quilts that I am marking for quilting. Needless to say there is a mess and clutter everywhere. My daughter is still living with me and so she has the downstairs as her bedroom. MY sewing machine is down there so you all know what that is like with little scraps here and there when we sew and cut material. Then the other and only place I have right now to work is upstairs in my bedroom where my computer is. Plus a semi large table area that the computer sits on and I can cut out my blocks and keep track of my boom buddies, etc. So today is clean up and straighten up. I get to the point where when I am making several blocks that after a while the clutter starts to stifle my thinking and working. So I probably won't be making blocks today as I am cleaning up.
But I did mail out 4 blocks to their owners and I mentioned them before in an earlier post. Am I the only one who gets this way or do you all get this cluttery too?????

Urgodschild2, I scrapbook as well as sew, so in addition to threads and fabric scraps, I have paper scraps as well. The good news is that paper scraps don't usually cling to everything. There is a certain point in the clutter where i have to, if not clean, at least tidy up so i can continue to work. We are out of school this week so I am finishing up a large project that I have been working on for a year to get it out of my craft room and then it will be boom blocks for the rest of the week!!!

Default Nine Blocks Completed

I think I have four or five more to do. Made these all today. You will have to figure out which one is yours. They will go in the mail, when I have the others done. I put the name of the blocks in the photos. These blocks were from a book called "Modern Blocks" by several designers. Best part, they are all 12.5 inches.

Urgodschild2, like mollymunchkin I quilt and scrapbook, always have a mess. Last year my sister visited and helped me clean and organize my sewing room. Hate to say it but I need her help again. Need scrap mangement classes or learn to throw them away.

Received all fabrics except nothing from Tracibug yet. Out of all fabrics received still have 2 grown up blocks to finish for argentum and for girlscouts1. Than I have to wait for the rest of my grown blocks to come home. Already received 7 back.

Hi All,
I just wanted to pop in and gently remind everyone to please remember to measure blocks before mailing them home and to please do your best to abide by color wishes if they are included with the fabric
Hugs
April
