Kelly, your block will go out monday, pic is in my album. I had 2 prints that went with it perfectly I love it. thinking about getting myself some of your fabric to make a wallhanging or something (and I don't even like orange!) It is much nicer in person than the pic!

April I will pray today was just an off day and not a failure on your stint. Dont even go there. Maybe its a bit of a set back from the fall? oh crud its going to be fine. Keep the faith.

I received in today Kelly's batik, moonwork your dots for dad!, ljdugas your gorgeous lilacs, and joan B your soft yellow fabric for the yellow/white quilt your making. That is an amazing amount in just two days in 8. wow. you guys are really on top of things this time! I am very impressed. I realized I did not put the group name on the envelope knew I forgot something I am sorry. Hopefully the name paper inside helped you figure which group I am in.

Linda I am staying hopeful it is fine...if I need surgery again I am not sure I'll make it back to work...
I am throwing a curveball to you. I am not sending you the orange but something even wilder lololol
I will post this in the other thread too but all of my fabric pieces sent are cut large enough so that if you want to use it as the background for appliqué or embroidery you can
Hugs
April

That was one of the 108" backings from the Stonehenge line by Northcott. The "normal" 42" version of that fabric has some shimmer to it. I guess they thought it was too expensive to make the back shimmer too. I love all their fabric - just finished a giant disappearing 9-patch with it (plus 2 batiks in gray & dark charcoal)... here's a picture.

I am anxiously waiting those little envelopes! I can't imagine what the mailman here will do if he can't get them all in our mail drop box! I finished the first 31 at work and mailed 21 with our mail pick up and 10 later at Japan Post. Got up Saturday morning and completed the last 6 and went to the 24 hour post office and mailed them off. If you could see the first batch you would laugh-I even added the little stickers from the stamp sheets. Then I started getting pressed for time and started just being satisfied if they were well-secured and had the correct postage. I just want to thank everyone in this group for being willing to pay the higher postage for us foreign swappers!

I will do my best on everyone's block!
