What are everyone's thoughts about using a directional fabric? I don't want to make folks try to play matchy-matchy with the directions if I don't have to. I have only enough to send the F8 to everyone ... otherwise I'd send a FQ to compensate.
The fabric I really wanted to use ... I only have 1.5 yards.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

This is the fabric I'm contemplating using. The print and direction is rather small as you can see by my 6.5" square ruler.
Will it be too difficult to keep the directions straight given that we only have a F8 to work with?
I've never worked a boomerang before so opinions are helpful.

OK ... perhaps plan B. I found a yard of two fabrics from the same line.

To check if you don't know you are sewing a correct 1/4", get a lined index card, line your foot up on one line and see if your sewing comes out on the other line. They are exactly 1/4" apart, and they never lie!
I want to join in....This sounds like a lot of fun...Count me in for a large group
