I hope so too tlambing! Im not a "yellow" person but my granddaughter loves it and so does a good friend at work so I might make two! Im more into browns and golds and fall colors ..I think thats why I like these swaps so much because I get to work with so many different colors for others! glad to have you in Boom 9!

doghousemom, maybe my purple fabric would be good for that beautiful picture block. I ordered the book and it is here staring at me but would make it so much easier to have a block to look at and make sure I do it right, don't you think? Almost like having a private tutor.

ebay, thrift store, and a lqs , discount bin, and gifts form family, and a a local buy sell trade, and the laddy did all kinds of stuff and a couple of garage sales or estate sales where old ladies lived and their kids were selling all their stuff, kinda mean to say but truth,

Hi all,
I am trying to figure out the best way to make the groups work so we can start Bear with me as this week is a bit crazy for me as I start back to school and finishing up the battle with bronchitis, but Friday evening should be my quiet time so I will see where each group stands and what needs to be done for the larger group
Thank you all again for playing and welcome to our newbies. You will get addicted quick lol
Hugs
April

April, I want to be in every group. See I just love all of you so much. I want to make all of you a pretty block in what every you send me. I have picked out the material for my GD duvet cover. It seems that owls are not in here in America so I am going with just the colors she wants. She will like anything I make. I have to look at the squares I already have for my GS duvet and then pick a color to go with them. I might even have enough to send something out for me. Last time I sent odd F8's out for some more squares to finish up my other swap quilts that I didn't have enough squares for. LOL. BUT I need to stop doing swaps and put the darn things together. That is my goal for this year. Not to stop swapping, heaven forbid, I couldn't do that....but I am putting the quilts together. I am trying quilt as you go and so far the one I am working on is working on quite nicely. I have only had to rip it out 3 times but I think I have it right now. LOL. I forgot to square up my squares and let me tell you..you get a very wonky quilt when you don't do that. Now it is lying down nicely and looking good.

Hi April-

If the numbers won't work for the large, give me two more small, please. I would be open to making two blocks to make the large group work, if necessary as well.
