I checked the tracking number and if the postal service is accurate (I hope so!) my partner should be receiving her ornament today or tomorrow.

Thanksgiving is at our house but only with my Dad, Stepmom, husband and kid...small group and too much food! I consider myself really lucky as the hubby does the cooking! I just have to do the clean up....hmmm...not sure if that's better or not!

No Black Friday for me. or brown Thursday for that matter...there's no cost savings worth my sanity! I'll sleep in and try to get a few things on line instead.

As I told hubs last night ain't NO SALE good enough for me to
risk my freedom over.

He told me that if I got an EXCLUSIVE invitation from RMSV that
they was GIVING away top of the line machine to the first 20 people
that I would be first in line.

My reply was still the same ain't no way in heck, I like my freedom
to much.

He than said that my comment made no sense at all.

I explained to him that I would end up in JAIL the first time some jerk
ran me over with a bugged or pushed me, because I would probably
do major bodily harm to them.

Oh in case any of you think that is HARSH of me to say, well lets just
say been there, done that............30 years ago, and I haven't been
back out on black Friday since.

No ornament received so far, and nothing that my recipient received the one I sent - but I'm sending from overseas, hoping that the mail service will work it all out as we still have 10 more days to go!

Yes The post office is slow on overseas packages. I am thinking that if you mailed recently You should go and check on your packages and the numbers and let me know how it is going. Isn't that the best way to check on your partners packages? So many wrong numbers reported that the post office is saying isn't a number they have on file. Please check you numbers on line before reporting them to me. Okay?

Dorothy, that reminded me too to say I am so thankful to have found this board. I have learned so much here since I joined, and met so many wonderful friends.

This seems so appropriate for this week! I am thankful for everything really. Family, friends, health, and comfort.

Thanksgiving and trying to think of what i am most thankful for this year. It has not been the most happy of times for me with the death of my son in June of this year. Losing a child is hard and harder yet since i lost his sister in August 2005.It is a common belief that the Lord lived 33 years on this earth. With that in mind, i am thankful I had my daughter for 36 years and my son for 37 years. That is a few years more than Mary was blessed with her Son.
