Civil War Block swap - One, Two Three

Thanks for the votes of confidence ladies. And Deb is correct when she says she has a quick turnaround. At least she did in the last swap (my first with her as hostess). Looking forward to getting some of the lovely blocks you've posted.

Hello all from the state of NH. Been here since the 5th. Watching the leaves turn yellow and red. I have been able to sew here at my BFF house as she has 3 machines. Her computer is not a priority and so it is slow so I try not to use it. I love the double T"s that are coming in. when I first saw that pattern, I thought yuk and it is hard to do so that was a double yuk. But when I finished mine I was amazed at how pretty it was. Then seeing everyone's on here, I have decided that I need more of them there double T's.

My BFF and I went down toward Sturbridge Village here in MA and stopped at some quilt shops on the way. I picked out a lot of CW material that have a very light beige background. I didn't own any light material from the CW so i got plenty. My friend stocked up on the darks. I am trying to get her to join this board but alas.......she is a total Anal personality and she says that she is so picky that she would get the blocks back and probably find something that she thought was wrong and have to tear it apart and redo it. LOL. I think that she is a quilt police in disquise. Of course she is not critical of what i do because i just tell her to live with it. I was surprised that some of the CW material is light colors though.

I was also surprised at some of the light colors that were CW, but then noted that the other color with it was a muted one. At least the ones that I were shown. The Double T was the third block that I choose, and I have to say it has become one of my favorite ones in this swap when I see all the different colors coming in. That block was definitely worth choosing!
