Summer block swap open April 1, closes June 1 and blocks due by June 30. Below is the link for the swap, complete with directions for making the block. This block just says *SUMMER FUN* to me. Usual swap rules apply as posted in the Member Swaps forum. Background may be color of your choice. Blades may be in 1930's fabric, or brights, hues of the same color palate, opposites....whatever you desire. Since this block may take you out of your comfort zone (we all need to challenge our skills!), I would suggest that you make a sample block before you commit to the swap. Opps....Sorry, make 12 blocks alike. UNFINISHED size should be 12.5. Thanks for catching my omission!

Deb, do you have any idea as to the fabric requirements for the 12 blocks? Don't want to come up short. Thanks.

Karen, on the link posted, it gives the amount of fabric for each block. I guess the best way would be to just multiply it by 12.....let me go to the link and see if I can get an estimate. Now, Linda says she can't open the link. Is anyone else having rouble with this?
