December Mug Rug Swap
#14
Hello all. I have never made a mug rug before, willing to give it a whirl. My favorite colors are purples, all shades. I'll do a little research on the internet and see what kind of mug rugs are out there.

Welcome aboard, Irene! Irene is new to this swap. You will love it, though -- very addictive!
Sorry you won't be joining us, QuilterMomma, for the December swap.
Terriamn -- I thought so, too ... but I'm wrong!

Welcome, Oksewnsew. We're glad you're joining us this month! If you become as addictive as the rest of us, we'll be seeing you a lot here!
And welcome, also, to a new swapper (to us, anyway), Josie Passell (that's her board name; I didn't goof).
There are now 17 people signed up for this swap -- so far. Spread the news, ladies! There's still plenty of time for sign-ups, but I think people are getting busy traveling to families or preparing to cook for the crowds, so there might be a little lull. But we can still think what to make, right? Just don't know the color yet!
Have fun, everyone!

Hello Mug Rug fans! Thinking ahead, I was delighted to receive FaveQuilts post today. There is a terrific pattern for an EPP heart by Mollie Johanson. It will be a great mug rug for Feb. I need a "sitting around" project for Thanksgiving. I'll try this. Wouldn't it by fun if several of us made our own variations? BTW, I use a glue stick for EPP. It goes so=-o much faster than basting. Also, print your templates on freezer paper. Cheers! Dotty
