I have it all in my head, but putting it on paper and then into actual fabric has been challenging. Things just didnt go the way I thought they would. Back to the drawing board. I'm glad I started early......would hate to miss the mailing date.

Have you started the AOTH applique blocks yet? I think I will do hand applique. I am not familiar enough with machine applique to tackle that project with a machine. Our quilt rows were the 1st machine applique I had ever done.

I have fabrics chosen to do the 1st several blocks. My plan is to work on cutting out the pieces and marking the backing for placement over the weekend. If I have time I will start the hand sewing, if not, I will have something to take along to work for my lunch hour. My new job gives us an hour break. I pack my lunch so that is alot of time to stitch.

Hopefully, I will have some pics for the "VIEW" row this weekend also.....we will just have to wait and see.

A quick peak of the start of block 1. Still waiting on an ok to make this block. Only just realised I may need permission from the trustees to use the image. Fingers crossed they come through. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board.
Please keep in mind It's at the very early stage here.Still needs lots of work.

Thanks Jacqui, but I don't draw, I just go straight to the cut and sew part, and if it doesn't work, nobody ever sees it. Unfortunately, if I go ahead an dfinish it, and I don't get the required permission, I may be looking at a law suit. Finishing has to wait for now.
