I am such a non stand out in a crowd type.. and here was one 'wild' part for me. lol now your saying blue and orange? guess I wasnt very wild after all. now I have a huge silver streak in front of my hair, no makeup, have to remember to put in the old front tooth retainer or heck I match my flannel shirts. yikes. ebner! get on over here granny needs her whisky..

They were SO busy this evening. They usually do both my mani and pedi at the same time, but they were too busy. I get gel polish, which takes a while to get off, so that's an extra half hour. I had 3 that had to be fixed, which is another 10 minutes. It's usually at least 90 minutes when I go for both. I don't get the simple pedi though. I get the 45 minute one for the extra massage & other things. Since my problems started with my right foot over a year ago, it's worth it.

As for the kind of party, well, it's getting up to around 80 degrees here in Alabama, so I'm liable to wear some sandals either Friday or Saturday night. Friday is a bit dressier, so it's more likely then. Or, I might break out the peep toe gold shoes again!

Yes, orange & blue are the school colors at Auburn University, where my boyfriend is a department head. This is what not only allows me to travel with him, but also gets me into all the additional social events we have to attend. The alumni council is a big deal though. The most successful of the alums are on the council, and are here for this meeting twice a year.

We have three new swappers and I hope everyone enjoys the ride. Thanks for signing up dconroy, AlaskaAlice and Berryberry! yahoooo! ringing bells, dancing in the street! where is that band??

I am thinking of this wonderful new red/white/blue fabric I picked up looks like medallions vs patriotic per say. so pretty and then again I am wondering oh watermellons and tropical things (I bought a lot of variety for my tropical swap so oodles left over..) or maybe picnics.. a little red check and some daisys and some pie fabric or or .. chickens! lol summer chickens (do they have summer chickens? why not!).. oh oh there is this beautiful sunflower fabric I have red/yellow bright flowers about 6 inches each.. colorful . I am one happy camper I hope you are too!

good morning crew off to clinic but home by this afternoon to take all those dozens of new sign ups .. or a few. I am happy happy with a few. so sign up, make me smile when I get home!

Since you asked so nicely AND since there's an entire month between the end of the booms swap and this one.... Count me in In an effort for full disclosure though, I neither have a table topper or runner or have ever made any. Hope that isn't a problem!

Oh oh oh!! Yes please... something WINE-y would be fantastic!! I have a tall metal table in my kitchen that is the shape of a wine bottle and holds a few bottles and glasses. I looooove it!

Sadly though, I live within 30 miles of 24 different wineries and have been to 1. Pathetic, I know...
