Thanks, ladies, for your sweet comments!
I've started slicing up my hexagons. Now what? hahaha!
Dotcomdtcm - empty your mailbox! It's full! And we need to set up a meeting time at my guild's show next month!
By the way, my partner for the month 978gray aka Susan said she'll be posting pix of my quilt for her. She loves cats and hot dogs are part of her professional life ... so I created "Cats and Dogs Garden Party". You can get a peek in my album here

So, I got my wonderful Doll Quilt from Krystyna today. It is totally unique. First you need to know I love cats and have a quilt inspector named Lorelei. Second I work for a deli meat manufacturer - I make Hot Dogs. with all that in the open, now you will understand the quilt.

The first picture is the entire quilt. The next pictures are close up of the embrodiery. I found four "hot dogs" I hope that is all there was.

Thanks fore being a wonderful partner Krystyna. I know you will be a great hist!!

Thanks for the compliment just went "shopping" in my stash and found those. I love them too, and when Krystyna said she liked burgundy, I knew those fabrics were perfect.

Ok, I need this explained to me! What are the little threads that look like chicken wire? And is the one kitty holding a weiner stick?! I am loving this little artistic quilt! You are a lucky lady to have such a masterpeice, 978!

Yes the little kitty is holding a wiener on a stick. There are definitely threads that look like chicken wire. My imagination tells me I am looking out a screen window into the backyard where all this fun is happening.

You are quite correct. I am truly very lucky to get such an artistic quilt!

Jillnjo, that was the quilting on the piece - the title is "Cats and Dogs Garden Party" -- and, of course, you can't let them run all over the garden, so they needed a wee bit of fencing in. And, yes, one kitty is holding a hot dog on a fork to offer to the ones above her. Lucky? Yeah, Susan sure is "lucky" - hahaha. Just happy she has a sense of humor.
