Don't forget ... you can use striped fabric ... or create something interesting with strips. Personally I'm thinking abstract and interesting.

Krystyna..............Welcome back to the board, we have all missed you, more than you know. I am in for this February Doll Quilt Swap & already have my top done!! The idea just came to me & I sat down & whipped it right up. Now all I have to do is finish it!!

Thanks for the warm welcome back!

Miss Sulabug, you are tooooo fast! But good for you.

I was just gifted with a Simplicity Strip cutter so I am happily making strips of all kinds of things. Where we will end up is anyone's guess. Does anyone have this machine? It can be a challenge to feed the fabric in straight and keep it coming out the other end smoothly.

Welcome back K, you were missed, in spite of the wonderful job QuiltingKrazy did!! I am in. I am weak. I am happy. I am in.
I just picked up one of those strip cutters. Was on clearance at Joannes, I played with it the day I brought it back, but haven't had any cutting to do that was worth getting it out. I, too, wonder about the accuracy I will get with it. I guess i will see.

I have scrapes and strips. and scraps of strips, and strips of scraps so I think i wil sew a scrappy strippy doll quilt. Or is it a stripe, strip, scrap. Any way , please include me! Thank-you!
