Default February Fabric Postcard Swap - Valentine's Day!

FABRIC POSTCARD SWAP
Wouldn’t be fun and exciting toreceive a personalized handmade postcard? It’s such a great creative outlet and they’re so quick to make.Plus, it’s a wonderful ‘immediategratification’ project. There are lotsof online resources available with all sorts of ideas, inspiration and‘how-to’s.’We will have a general themeeach month. Please mail your fabric postcards by the20[SUP]th[/SUP] of each month.Sooner isbetter so I can add you to the ‘mailed’ list.
Use cardstock or index cardscut to 4” x 6” or purchased blank postcards for the back and some kind of stifffusible interfacing, i.e., Timtex, Fast2Fuse, Wonder Under, etc.If you use batting to make your postcard, beprepared to pay additional postage.Any other size will cost more postage.International swappers are welcome!
The theme for February is Valentine’sDay!
Please PM me with thefollowing:
  • QB screen name
  • Real name
  • Address/city/state/zip
  • Are you willing to mail internationally?
This is not meant to be a SecretPal kind of swap. Once I have everyonepartnered up, I will post the QB names on the thread then will send along theabove information by PM to the respective swappers.
Some required details:
  • Postcards must be 4” x 6”
  • They must have a finished edge, i.e., zig zagstitching, button hole stitching, satin stich, binding, etc.
  • Your postcard needs to be at least either piecedor appliqued plus whatever you want to add to that. If you add a lot of embellishment, you mayneed to enclose your handmade postcard in a clear mailing envelope (availableat the big box stores and online) in order for the USPS to handle it/mail itand so your postcard doesn’t get caught in their equipment.
  • Your postcard must have adequate postage. Do not send something that will require therecipient to have to pay postage due. To be safe, please either check at your localpost office or put 49 cents on your postcard for US. Check with your PO for international postage.
  • Please PM me when you have mailed your postcardAND when you have received your postcard. Also, as a courtesy, please PM your sender to let them know you’vereceived their postcard.
  • Have fun and be creative!!
Jane

I, too, am waiting for a name. I guess I'm being a nag, but I'd like to get my card off before Valentine's Day. Thank you, Jane.......
