Working on my first set letsquilt. We will see how many I can get finished before the time to send off. I Love these blocks and I have many still to be set up. But, if I don't participate, there won't be any fun playing with all my buds here on the swap! Right? I love getting all the fun blocks from everyone. One day I will set them. But, for now it is play play play!!

Brat,
I still have all of mine, too...lol.
But I just keep adding to them...

Letsquilt,
I'm sorry about your parents, and yes you're correct, they ARE family, and there's no way I'd not help out as long as I'm able.
I thank you for your kind words of encouragement. My mom also lives with dh and I. She's a lung cancer survivor of 11+ years. She's only got 1 lung, but I'm just happy to still have her here!
I know we all have "stuff", and I try to keep things in perspective.
It's just a tad rough being a caregiver for 2 people when I can hardly take care of me!
Regards,
Kif

I have been searching through my patterns and magazines for inspiration. I did order one from on line to try too. I am going to try out a embroidered one today to see how that looks. It is kind of fun playing with such colorful fabrics.

Years ago I read an autobiography by twain. It was a very interesting read. Somewhere around a thousand pages.

I went through some of my Halloween fabric and decided on 2 1/2 blocks and what fabric to use. I will start cutting them out soon. I just love Halloween and fall fabrics. Happy seeing and quilting everyone.

happylab did you mean 12 1/2 inch blocks. Rules say start with 6 1/2 inch no 3 1/2 in blocks. Maybe I read it wrong.

Happy lab,Do you mean 12 1/2" ? The smallest size is 6 1/2", I'm sure that's just a type error. Have fun!!!
I came home with a little bug from camping at the lake but feeling better now, will post some samples tomorrow.
Hope everyone is having fun so far. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

Maybe she meant that she had two blocks and half of the third block figured out and kitted with fabrics girls.

I have the first set applique started and the pattern came for the paper pieced one I will do. I still need to try out the embroidered one. Hubby had four days off and all I could do was pick up after and feed him. LOL!

All this fun Halloween fabric I have and I need to go shopping to be able to make what I want to swap. Crazy quilter's...

I would think so owlvamp as long as they are heat set and won't wash out.
I'm almost finished with my first set so I can post a picture ! I'm running slower than I want,
Been fighting a stomach bug,but I think it's better today so far.
