My foot is doing ok. I've been cast free and boot free for about a month now. Though we did have a family loss a month ago, so I've been more quiet. My dear grandma died the end of April. She was very dear to me as I do not have a mother and she helped raised me.

Chrys, I'm so sorry. My grandparents are all gone so I can understand how you feel. I'm sending hugs your way.

I am glad your foot is better.

Ok. here is my new border. I hope you like it. It will be going in the mail this week. This is so fun. What a wonderful group here. This center seemed to call for half square triangles.

This is a great addition! Now I have to think about what to add for the final border. You are a tough act to follow!

Chrys, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Wishing comforting thoughts and warm memories for you.

Patti, my top looks great! I really like that you brought the blue back into play and the HSTs perfectly reflect those in the center and the pinwheel corners in the applique border. Thank you!

I had a great weekend at the beach. There were 15 of us there: KarenBarnes, WineWoman, 2Doods, cobaltjars, quilttiludrop, stichy65, Feathers, Feather's sister & their friend Dianne (not Board members . . . yet), UglyCook, Candlequilter, pattijo, cbridges, quiltingnonie, trishb, and me. So much laughter, good food and great fun! What a neat group of ladies!

I'm washing fabrics tonight for Bonnie's top and will get to sewing tomorrow. I should make the deadline without a problem. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures! :-D

Sounds like you had a great time at the beach, sew cornie! Did you get a lot of sewing done?

I will be mailing lindyline's center on Friday. I have a busy week next week so I want to get it in the mail yet this week, if that's OK with you, Jen.

Yes, we actually got some sewing done. I was much more productive than at home where I'm getting the kids their snacks, changing the laundry, refereeing, etc. LOL.

Mail Linda's whenever it's most convenient for you. I can't wait to see it in person!

I remember the days of being the referee. I'm the mom of 6 kids. Seems like some days, that is all I did. Hahaha! I love to hear stories of how the grandkids drive their parents crazy now... Paybacks????
